Extract of sample "Cereal Import and GDP of Qatar"

Import of cereals into the country has been on the verge of increasing because of the rising need for the use of cereals, vegetables, and milk. The main factor that triggers this scenario is the increase in the number of young people as compared to older people in the workforce. For instance, with the increased rates of employment culminating to the maximum in the years 2010 to 2012, the workforce continues to demand an increase in food supplies. However, the rates of increase in the importation of cereals are going down. An explanation for this is deeply rooted in the effort by the governance and policymakers of the region to bring about food security and contribute to the growth of GDP (Das & Mustapha 92). The data below shows the countries that export cereals to Qatar:

It shows the way the development in the GDP of the country. The relation is in the mode in which it influences food security as well as strategies for economic growth (Das & Mustapha 132).
