The country has been attacked many times by various terrorist groups and most of these times terrorists attacked the American people, in general, and the country, in particular, by immigrating into the country. Immigration reform policies are most essential to be implemented as these policies will not only provide the country and its citizens, greater amounts of support, but also raise the level of economic and social growth (Berkowitz et al., 19-21).
Over the years, prosperous countries such as the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, and the United States have been attracting immigrants in large numbers (Muwonge 10). This situation is attributed to the fact that such countries have better social, economic, and political environments that are more favorable for living and have more opportunities than the immigrants’ countries of origin.
US IMIGRATION POLICY
In recent times, US is experiencing immigration rates in past few years. Also, a large section of these people neither abide by the regulations lay by proper immigration channels, nor possess adequate documents. The total number of such undocumented workers amount to 12-20 millions, a matter of serious concern for US.
ICE agency works hand in hand with state, federal, and local policy enforcement bodies to accomplish this mission. One of the ICE’s partnership plan (the 287(g) program) permits the investigative agency to form partnership with the local and state’s law enforcement unit under MOA (Memorandum of Agreement) for receiving delegated law for migration enforcement in their jurisdictions (Camayd-Freixas, 2013).

Over the period of time, the same phenomenon (immigration) that populated the country has now become a major debatable issue in the political, economic and social domain of the land.
These issues have drawn debate over the future of United States following immigration Reforms. Many leaders have given their opinions regarding the immigration reform process focusing on its implication
