Do you feel like your employer knows how you judge and measure your performanceWhat methods does your employer provide to encourage your individual developmentHow do you feel motivated by the methods you indicatedDoes your employer have timely, accurate, open two-way communication with you Data AnalysisTo better analyze the data collected, an average number of the teachers with the same answers were to be categorized in the same class, from which the mean number would be taken as the representative of the actual status quo.

Research FindingsAmong the 300 teachers who filled the questionnaires, from all ages, sex, and marital status, approximately 75% attributed the employers' judgment of their performance(s) on the remuneration they were paid. The same percentage (75%) of them felt motivated by an increment in their pay by their employers as a method of encouraging their individual development. 13% of the teachers indicated having timely, accurate, open two-way communications with their employers.Interpretations of FindingsTeachers consider better pay as a reward for their performance and are more productive with fair pay, tied to performanceResearch LimitationsAccording to Pauline, & Fausel, (2007), pay in itself as the only method to compensate teachers for their performances could be deceiving.

It is further necessary to use other means such as hierarchical promotions to further motivate and improve their work output. The research was not able to recognize the teachers' desire for good work, to assume responsibility, to achieve student satisfaction, and to succeed in their careers without the employers' considerations. Therefore, the research cannot be generalized, but better pay motivates teachers to improve in their outputs. Implications for PracticeSince there is no denying the fact that teachers' remunerations have a direct implication in their performance, employers can use the research in determining the appropriate policies to ascertain the fair salaries for their teachers.

This will help them in the compensation costs i.e. wages, salaries, and benefits, that are a vital part of their operating expenses.
