Prewriting for a Thesis When my wife excluded meat products from her menu, I noticed strange changes in her appearance and daily routine. I was surprised to find out that she got younger, slimmer and healthier. Her complexion got healthier looks. She got 5 kilos down in four months period and did not gain weight for a year while she was on vegetarian food. She feels much more energy during her day and I can really see that she does not get tired as quickly as before. Vegetarian diet is superior to meat diet in terms of how its effects general well-being. Good looks –more energy. Vegetarian diet makes one younger. Vegetarian diet is good for optimal weight control. Vegetarian diet keeps one healthy. Less health problems even during pandemics. Sport may also contribute to better looks. Active people are healthier and fall less ill. Sport really restores energy and builds a strong protective shield for the organism. Better looks can be achieved with the help of innovative cosmetics. There are good brands with totally different approaches to beauty problems. Vegetarian diet has a number of priorities over meat diet as it affects general well-being of a person. Thesis Vegetarian food is healthier than meat in terms of how you feel, look and live. Plan of argument Vegetarian food is good for health because one receives more energy. Vegetarian food is good for health because one can control weight and look younger. Vegetarian food effects health as one avoids illnesses even during pandemics. One’s immune system works better. Support Vegetarian food is good for health because one receives more energy. My wife after excluding meat food from her diet felt more energetic. She found time to go in for sport. Having part time employment, she managed to attend gym twice a week and some days she got up early to jog in the morning. Besides, she has time for family and household duties. Before, I have never noticed such busyness of her schedule. You may argue that her energy boosted after she started to go in for sports and sports made her so energetic. It could be true if you knew my wife. After losing some extra kilos because of the veg diet she observed, she was so much thrilled about shaping her body that I could but wonder of her desire to frisk at the gym with much younger women. It was evident that the change happened after six months or little more after her refusal from animal products. Her emotional well-being has also improved as shes got more cheerful and emotionally stable. Vegetarian food is good for health because one can control weight and look younger. After adopting a vegetarian way of life, my wife lost extra weight and now she looks like a young and attractive woman. Her complexion changed, giving her much more attraction. Her eyes are sparkling as never before. Her general health has improved. One may claim that her complexion could have changed to some cosmetics she started to use. I may assure you that she does not use any anti-aging cosmetics. This change was not a one-day alteration which I noticed. She used to buy expensive creams to get some lift-up effects and was always unhappy with the results. Now I see that fresh squeezed juices and cereals she takes every day are better than what can be found to make a person 10 years younger. Vegetarian food effects health as one avoids illnesses even during pandemics. One’s immune system works better. I was greatly surprised when our family, except for my wife, caught flue last winter. Me and my children hardly survived after a week of high temperature, running nose and bad coughs. We all were in terrible condition, all but for my wife. She was under one roof with all of us, full of flue germs, coughing and sneezing. She was caring for us but did not fall ill with this contagious disease. It was like a miracle. Immune system works well only if a person sticks to certain health rules. It is not only well-balanced diet that ensures good health but also sports, everyday activities and certain routines, etc. Resistance of my wife to disease can be accounted for these factors. However, sport activities cannot provide organism with necessary microelements necessary for healthy functioning. Balanced nutrition is considered to as a defining component of good health. Now every day my wife consumes more vitamins from fruit and vegetables due to belief that these will help her to overcome diseases. During annual medical inspection, it was found out that her health indicators improved. Conclusion Vegetarian food is really healthy food and it has its advantages over meat. Fruit eaters exhibit better health indicators which tell a mile off. They are more energetic and emotionally balanced. They look younger due to optimal weight control and general well-being and attractiveness. Their immune system is stronger as they are less prone to fall ill. Excluding meat from everyday diet is going to make one healthier, gives more energy and protects one from illnesses. Essay “Vegetarian diet vs. meat eating.” My family like many others in our neighborhood and, I am sure, around the world used to eat meat almost every day. We could not refuse from a tasty roasted steak for dinner and did not forget about fast food restaurants when having lunch. We could be as many other families at least in this country if it were not for one significant incident which happened with my wife. Actually nothing extraordinary happened: two years ago she got a problem with her stomach and the doctor advised her to exclude meat as well as spicy and sweet food from her diet for a couple of months. First it was not easy for her to limit herself in food she used to eat all her life but then she felt a different person because of the changes observed in her. The most evident was how her appearance had changed: she lost extra weight in three months period. Her new slimmer body gave a 10-year age discount. Moreover, her complexion improved as well as her general well-being and mood. She gained more energy and became very busy in her activities. She not only coped with household tasks but also had trainings at the gym and went jogging in the morning. We started to wonder what had effected these miraculous changes and found no other obvious reason as the refusal from meat and adopting vegetarian diet. After the period of a strict diet was over, my wife did not return to her old ways of meat eating. She started reading about vegetarian food and followed vegetarian codes. Finally, she made me believe that vegetarian food is healthier than meat eating in terms of how you feel, look and live. Now I have no doubt that vegetarian food is better for health because one receives more energy from plant food than from meat eating. The visible effect of refusing from meat products is gaining more energy. Ann has never been so active before. She has fitness training at the gym every Monday and Friday and goes jogging early in the morning almost every day. Her part-time employment allows her to be a wonderful housewife who perfectly manages with everyday routine chores and a great mother who cares for her children and devotes much time to them. I wondered at her ability to be as fresh as a daisy even in the evening. Before she became a vegetarian it was rarely a case to find her reading a book or watching some TV show late in the evening. I also noted positive changes in her emotional well-being as she became more cheerful; she was always in a good mood. She used to joke more often. This positive change was remarked by our children as well. I started thinking that sport activities were the reason for these activity changes but then I realized that she had started doing sports after switching to plant products. I do not remember her feeling like frisking at the gym before she refused from animal products. Her desire to attend fitness classes appeared spontaneously when she got rid of extra kilos and was thrilled about it so much that needed to consolidate this success. After my wife has lost extra weight as a result of vegetarian lifestyles, she looks like a young and attractive woman. Vegetarian food benefits health as it contributes to weight balance and younger looks. Theres no doubt that low fat food results in attractive slim looks. Ann returned to her youth shapes due to eating salads and more grains. However, optimal weight is not the only effect of fruits and vegetable staple. My wife was surprised to find out how much her complexion changed – rosy cheeks and smooth flawless skin – thats more than she could expect. Did she take any medication or applied innovative cosmetics? All anti-aging cosmetics she had used before did not give any of these wonderful effects. It is true that she used to buy expensive creams to get some lift-up effects but the results were rather illusive than so vivid. However, these miraculous vegetarian transformations did not happen in a night or even fortnight. It took a couple of months so that we started to notice these amazing alterations. Now I see how freshly squeezed juices and cereals make a person ten years younger. However, that’s not the only miracle observed after my wife has switched to vegetarian food. After last winter happening I became certain that vegetarians have better health protection. It was last winter when all the family caught flue, except for my wife. She managed to avoid this contagious disease while all the family suffered from it. I and my children had survived through hard times of high temperature, terrible coughs and running nose non-stop. My daughter was the first to catch the disease at school. In a couple of days time my son felt bad, and then it was my turn to get all privileges of sick leave. Ann was the last one expected to join our ‘cough-and-sneeze’ team. However, fortunately she did not meet our expectations. It was a riddle for all of us how she avoided a contagious disease living under one roof with people full of germs, whom she diligently cared for. It was evident that her immune protection was stronger than the rest of the family had. It is true that immune system can be influenced by many factors from healthy lifestyles to heritage issues. It is not only well-balanced diet that ensures good health but also sports, everyday activities and certain routines. One can assume that my wife’s resistance to disease is accounted for in one of these factors, for example sports. There’s no doubt that sport is good for one’s health. However, it does not provide our body with all necessary elements and vitamins which construct a strong protective shield of our organism. On the other hand, my wife did not change her other routines; she did not move to another living area with fresher air and less polluted environment; she did not start cold water procedures or other techniques to improve her health. The only thing that had changed during that time was her refusal of meat food. Later after this accident, we were even more surprised to find out that my wife’s cholesterol level, which was rather high over the recent years and something my wife fought insistently without stable results, dropped to normal level, as analysis of an annual medical inspection showed. All these positive changes in my wife’s health convinced me of the superiority of vegetarian diet over meat in relation to health, general well-being and beauty. There’re no more worries about weight control, aging problem and frequent illnesses or lack of energy.
