This paper highlights that Stanton et al describe the way men have mistreated women in the society for so long. Man is said to have never allowed a woman to exercise her rights, deprived her voice before the law, and the woman has been denied right to own property. Stanton et al however condemn these cores of actions and suggests that only God has the sole responsibility of defining the roles and abilities of men and women in the society. “We insist that they have immediate admission to all the rights and privileges which belong to them as citizens of United States”.

In some nations like the US, the gender roles have greatly changed over time, unlike in the Afghanistan where the traditional status of society still continue to prevail despite the oppression of one gender against the other. The gender differences are evident in the work place roles, family roles, income, among many others.
Fairness among both sexes in economic terms and with reference to occupational responsibilities has been of great concern to many writers and reviewers. As a matter of fact, nations and governments have taken over the issue and constituted various law and regulations that ensure that there is maximum fairness between male and females at the workplace.
