Extract of sample "Analysis of Article Titled One Cannot Not Communicate by Balaban"

According to Balaban (2011), everything we converse or do not converse conveys a given message to another party. It further implies that we cannot choose whether to communicate or not. Individuals need to note that even a raised eyebrow, an awkward posture, and a condescending look send a negative message to the other individual. If a manager in an organization asks the employees who are willing to write the minutes of a meeting and one individual lowers his/her head and stares at the computer, it implies that the individual is not willing to perform the task.

An example to illustrate the communication concept is evident when relating to my three daughters. During family outings, meal times, and discussions, they usually employ non-verbal cues to communicate. I remember a time when one of my daughters shrugged, kept silent, and locked herself in a room just because I had asked her to perform a task for me the following day. I had to be at the air force base and could not find time to file some papers with a government agency. She never complained verbally, but her actions were enough to indicate she was unhappy.

She had planned to visit a park with her friends for a nature trail.
