The Fast Track Program of FIT gives an opportunity for undergraduate students to take graduate coursework; thus, they are able to finish a master’s degree in less time than in traditional programs (Florida Institute of Technology 1). Furthermore, the students will not have to shoulder the cost of graduate admission requirements and eliminate the anxiety of applying to a graduate program. The time commitment will also be greatly reduced.
Another major advantage of the FastTrack program is that most students who graduate from this program usually earn higher starting salaries. They also gain access to the latest trends in technology and are better exposed to real-world scenarios. They become exposed to industry leaders and are able to expand their professional network (Florida Institute of Technology, par.1). Students from the program acquire major-related work experience, professional skill-honing, co-op earnings and insight into one’s professional strengths (Florida Institute of Technology, par.4).
