Tests may also be classified based on the type of behavior that is being measured which may include ability tests and personality tests. Ability tests are always used in measuring skills in terms of accuracy or speed while personality tests are used in measuring typical behaviors including temperaments, traits and responses.

Psychological testing is another type of testing that is popular, and advisable for students to learn. This is a test that is mainly used for the purposes of evaluating an individual.
