Intuition is a way of perceiving, which relies on relationships, meanings, and possibilities beyond the reach of the conscious and includes behavioral attributes. A way of knowing something instinctively, intuition seems to be a residual process accommodating whatever cannot be explained by other means. Intuition is intellectual which operates subconsciously. The logical aspect of intuition can be easily suppressed and we can make mistakes in the intuitional level of consciousness. Commonsense is affirmative thinking in workday consciousness.

It is rational thinking and good problem-solving skills we acquire through activating logical intuition. It is impartial and responsible. A person using his commonsense not only uses logical intuition with keen insight, but also employs judicious observation, suitable guidelines, and legitimately applies conclusions to specified projects. Psychology is a science of observable behavior and can be defined as the scientific study of behavior and mental processes. As both intuition and commonsense involve behavior and mental processes, they are the hallmark of psychology.

The hindsight bias refers to the tendency of people, after an event, to overestimate how accurately they would have predicted the outcome had they been asked in advance. Hindsight bias is sometimes referred to as the “I-knew-it-all-along” effect. The bias is believed to obstruct one's ability to learn from experience and to lead to an undue level of confidence in future decision-making. Research has shown that, under some conditions, groups have been shown to be less susceptible to bias than individual decision-makers.

We also are usually overconfident of our judgments, which can be partly to our bias to seek information that confirms them. Such biases lead us to overestimate our unaided intuition. Common chemical imbalances related to emotional disorders such as anxiety and depression include: Reduced availability of neurotransmitters like Serotonin,  Dopamine, Norepinephrine, GABA and Acetylcholine, increased levels of toxic neurochemicals such as Homocysteine, lower levels of serum Magnesium, Zinc or Potassium, Unhealthy, or deficient levels of essential vitamins like B6, B9, B12 and Vitamin-C, low levels of key cofactors like amino acids that are used to help transport neurotransmitter precursors into the blood-brain barrier, increased cortisol stress hormone levels.

One of the most important steps in dealing with depression is finding out its root cause. There is no such thing as the best depression medication like sleeping pills because, as mentioned earlier, these anti-depression medication pills do not necessarily address the disorder. One of the best ways to really combat depression is through counseling and getting involved in activities that will help the person forget the root cause of the problem. Using an anti-depression medication is usually counter-productive because it also makes the depressed person dependent on the drug.

Psychotherapeutic medications act by controlling symptoms. Psychotherapeutic medications do not cure mental illness, but in many cases, they can help a person function despite some continuing mental pain and difficulty coping with the problems. Drugs like chlorpromazine can help to see reality more clearly. Many people tend to underestimate or even misuse the word depression. It is a very common emotion and mental condition that is always associated with mere sadness. It has even become a normal mental disorder in pop culture and it is really very funny that many people want to have so they can identify themselves with their favorite show business personalities.
