Personality types Personality types play a major role in determining the type of leader in a business. In response to the scoring card, my ability to be a great leader has really been contributed by my personality type. Just like Guarino (pp.18) argues in her work, personality types cannot be alienated from the fact that, they drive leaders to leading successful organizations. From the personality results, my management style will not be altered in a great way. Nonetheless, it will be designed in such a way that, it will be of benefit to the employees. Basing my experience on my being an Extraverted iNtuitive Feeling Judging (ENFJ) person, I have the ability to mobilize people into achieving their goals, as well as the goals of the organization. From my charismatic virtues; I am able to deal with all manners of challenges in the organization. My belief in the existence of dreams in individuals has led to my motivation and assisting other members of the organization into attaining both long term and short term goals. From the results, my management style will be designed in such a way that they are in line with the constant communication with employees. Being an internally driven person, it is extremely important that the employees are always motivated and enlightened on the way forward in the business. Unlike in an authoritative environment, it is my responsibility to ensure that all employees are motivated and geared towards goal achievement. Being a global learner, I am able to visualize what is likely to happen in the future. With this I am in a better position to set a working plan that would put my company and I in a better position. From the test, it is justified to argue that, I am able to make decisions in a good manner, though at times these decisions are based on my feelings towards a particular question. Despite my office being neat, I am also in a position to handle my employees in a pleasing manner; thus, motivating them. My conclusions are resilient; I appreciate the contributions of all persons no matter how minute. My needs in the organization come last so long as the employees are fully satisfied. At most times, I tend to listen to people’s problems and forget that I have mine to handle, as well. From an analysis of my results from the scoring card, I would only fit in a democratic environment that allows individuals work on the basis of what they think and feel is right- laissez faire system. Imposition of too much pressure on the employees does not yield great results, but giving them a sense of direction would create good rapport between the employer and employees. The culture of responsibility is indeed the way to go in this case. The results of the leader’s mode of operation go hand in hand with the personality type. As indicated earlier, it is only possible to attain success based on an individual’s ability to work on judgments and not perceptions. The personality of the leader, in the case study, can be analyzed as an introverted one that allows the leader devise solutions to problems from within themselves. The leader also works on the basis of acquiring information and analyzing them from his senses and not from his assumptions. This manager thinks and judges facts on the basis of facts and justifications that generate those facts. In this case, as a leader, I would tolerate ambiguity. Since the future is uncertain, I would not force circumstances to happen that indeed, cannot happen. All situations that may face the organizations must be well thought of and analyzed from all angles before embarking on a decision.
