However, they are not familiar to all individuals, for instance, the attitudes of people towards a certain issue. Central disposition is the characteristics around which the life of a person revolves, this level of disposition is more prevalent in people since individuals tend to have multiple central dispositions, for example, the interests and hobbies that people possess that influence their overall behavior. Secondary disposition is common to all but in essence, they are less reliable since they cannot be easily distinguished in an individual. The five-factor theory is founded on the precipice of five traits that are used to describe the personality and behaviors of individuals. The five-factor theory has five components namely; extraversion, conscientiousness, agreeableness, openness, and neuroticism. An individual high on any particular trait will tend to exhibit specific character traits, for instance; individuals high on agreeableness tend to show kindness, affection trust, and altruism. On the other hand, people high on extraversion are express high levels of emotions, assertiveness and tend to be more excited. High levels of neuroticism are characterized by sadness, emotional instability, and irritability. Alternatively, individuals high on openness tend to have a broad range of interests as well as imagination (McCrae and Allik, 2002).
According to Eysenck extraversion, is a trait that is characterized by high levels of interaction and socializing as the means of gathering and disseminating information. Extraverts prefer face-to-face meetings and discussions to come up with ideas as well as pass their thoughts to other people. On the other hand, Introversion is a conservative trait whereby introverts focus on a single idea at a time. They prefer to analyze a situation individually before presenting their ideas to the rest after they had formulated their decision (Hayes, 2005).
