ABUSING PSYCHIATRIC PATIENTS What is the effect of abusing psychiatric patients when they are still young? The author’s hypothesis that stress from racism has increased mortality and morbidity rates is evidenced through high death rates reported among the Blacks. Racial discrimination has also been reported in public and private health amenities. The author recommended that strict rules should be put in place to reduce cases of African Americans being discriminated against their colour. Future studies should also include other states and various occupations to prove this study.
