Extract of sample "Homework Questions Analysis"

Often I felt that I missed my parents so much.  So I would spend more time with my children, and take care of them. My style of parenting would be authoritative. I would spend time with them, talk to them, and communicate with them. I would like them to talk and communicate with people, and that would enable me to know about their thought processes. Secondly, I would listen to them first, and then allow them to make their own decisions. I would respect their viewpoints. They need to develop their ability to make decisions and develop contacts for their future life. Lastly, I would help them to achieve their goal, always encourage them, and also provide the best backup for them. That would make them develop their self-esteem. I would try my best to give them warm parenting, high acceptance and high involvement with them.

How is your child's attachment to you and your partner developing? Discuss, according to Bowlby’s and Ainsworth’s theories, what is happening at the 3-month and 8-month periods that might affect your child's attachment security. Be specific about theory specifications, stages, etc. Also, according to Thomas and Chess, describe your child’s temperament and how it affects your child's attachment to you and your partner.

I would fulfil all the wants and needs of the baby because infants need trust and affection at this moment. I would take care of the baby’s shower, food requirements and sleep schedule, as a good caregiver. But I would let my husband, who is the baby’s father involved as the playmate with her because that would make a positive family attitude and relationships, and also provide sensitivity and warmth to the baby. At this time, she would be smiling, laughing, cooing, and babbling. I would cuddle or be with her when she would cringe in a strange situation, because the baby needs parents for their security, and parenting should be warm, and affectionate. I also would fondle her when she stops crying as a reward for training her temperament.
