One goal of improving one aspect of my academic life One aspect by which I can improve my academic life is be ensuring proper time management. Time is a very important resource that once lost can never be recovered and therefore it needs proper management. One of the steps towards proper time management is by developing a well balanced time table that will incorporate all my academic units as well as other aspects of daily life such as allocating time for personal hygiene and grooming, sleep and resting time, class attendance and personal study time.
I have identified that allocating a personal study time is the most challenging duration to allocate but through adequate personal discipline, it can be attained. 2. One goal for improving one aspect of my emotional intelligenceI can improve my emotional stress by being able to reduce all forms of stress that are likely to affect my performance in class and other areas of life. Stress can be managed by avoiding unnecessary form of stresses that may arise due to failure of completing class assignment in time, saying no to things that are beyond by scope instead of just admitting to try and avoiding being with people who are likely to stress me.
I need to accept the things that I cannot change in my life and learn to appreciate myself more as well as devoting time for relaxation and fun activities.3. One goal for Improving one aspect of my career lifeOne of the ways if improving my career is by pursuing higher education. This will present more opportunities and knowledge so as to improve my level of competency. The process will take a maximum of three years and will not involve many resources. I will consider a course that is not related to my current area of expertise so as to increase my scope in the field.
Time management, stress management and higher education are closely linked as they impact on each other and one cannot be attained without consideration of the rest.
