The tales of general public is more fictional than those of the top cradles of the societies all around the world. The process of human development is not going to be completed without the presence of challenges. Challenges have to be surmounted with the help of demonstrating courage and strength of character in life. The life represents a battleground for everyone, and we have angels who guard us throughout our lives. They shout via demons if they have to because they want us to be better humans (Petri & Govern, 2012). The essence of humanity is putting in struggle so that we can become more than ourselves. The humans have the profound capability to grow, and they can intellectually devolve as well. In this way, we have to give ourselves the utmost level of exposure so that we can grow. The humans face two kinds of forces in this world. The first one goes by the name of evolution and the other one is called entropy, and when we do not grow into sophisticated personalities then, we have a psychological program that causes us to move backwards. We have energies during the early years of our lives (Blase & Blase, 2000), but they deplete with the passage of time, and then, we need to have motivation in order to get through our lives’ later sections. The slow learners have a tendency to learn slowly. However, they learn in detail, they have clear models in their minds, and they have a profound ability to engage professionally and successfully as well. I was a slow learner and teachers and parents wanted me to speed up my learning capabilities because they considered me a time waster. Early Life I was low on confidence and I was afraid of the people as well. I was dreadful public speaker, and my situation was worsening because I was not willing to work at my weaknesses, and I was under consistent pressures of entropy, and the teachers scolded me and embarrassed me in the front of the class in order to motivate me, but it had inverse affect on me and my personality (Brookfield, 2009). I was performing well enough in my written exams, but I was not able to communicate and interact with people. I was a loner, and I was happy with my academic performance in recent years. However, I was well aware of the fact that I can do more, teachers did not think so, and they did not share my enthusiasm with me also. Personal Development I did not receive motivation from external educational environment, and therefore, my satisfaction grew into longitudinal contentment, and I was stopping to grow into a better human being, but nature had other plans for me, and it introduced a factor of personal development in my life so that my growth can be stimulated a bit. I was in my senior year of high school when one of my teachers spotted me, and he had an intention to make a difference in my miserable life. The teacher took me under his wing, and importantly, he made an effort in order to make a difference in my life that others only promised about (Eyal & Roth, 2011). Human soul is a hungry creature, and its only food is love (Petri & Govern, 2012), and when mine received that gift from the teacher, and as a response to that it rekindled. He who made the difference did not take the credit. He presently says whatever one can do is performed by him with the grace of God. What he gave me was nothing, but faith in God and human effort. I find inspiration in his words of wisdom even now when I am a grown and developed professional in my field of work. I have the courage to carry my mentor’s message forward. I am planning to be the teacher in the later years of my life so that I can have the blessed opportunity to make the same difference as somebody did in my life. The teacher said that one can repay his guide by guiding others, and I am planning to do the same as well. My ideal leader taught me to trust myself, and he gifted me with the courage and strength that helped me in the process of deciphering my own potentials. The inner voice that remained unheard in many years was listened to for the first time in my life. It guided me to be creative, bold, fearless, and open. People started to note my powerful personality and me as well. With the passage of time, I grew and developed into an effective and efferent public speaker. The power of tongue is the one that developed me into the organizational leader, and I finally found that my apparent weakness was my strongest forte. I had low confidence because somewhere deep down, I had a realization that I am going to be a public speaker, but I was afraid of the people. When my teacher made me into a powerful personality then, my fears vanished, and I emerged as a victorious. Professional Engagement I tell my subordinates that their fears and reservations are not real, and they are not physical in nature, but they are having cognitive structures. The fears are stemming from believes that one has developed during his or her life. The teacher helped in the development of “can do” attitude, and once I have that then, I became committed towards fulfilling my dreams. I firstly developed the power of dreaming. According to Einstein, imagination and dreaming is the source of ultimate human development. The human will and wish to grow is the basic and fundamental cause of living. I had a satisfaction, but my beloved teacher told me that I am wasting my time by remaining contented because I have not tapped into my potential fully. He added that one could not prey on his competencies even in the whole life so there is something that I have to share to the world, and that is my reason of existing (Greenfield, 1993). The teacher did not tell me what to do, but he guided me about the ways that can aid me in completing my goals and objectives of life. I was aimless before, but when I left high school then, I have a dream to work with, and I had the energy as well that I can use in order to have what I want in my life. The only thing that my teacher told me is that the creativity comes to relaxed minds (Petri & Govern, 2012), and he repeatedly told me to remain calm and composed so that I can have innovative solutions to the traditional problems that I am going to experience in my practical life. Value of Educational Environment The contextual learning theory states that one cannot learn without the presence of conducive environment, and I was the victim of negative environment of the educational system. I was creative, and therefore, I took long time in learning things, but my classmates had the uncanny ability to memorize at a faster pace, and because this reason, I was not sure what to say. The teachers thought that I would make an ideal writer or poet, but they would have never thought that I would grow into an organizational leader because of my lacking ability to communicate and socialize with others. The inspirations can come from different and unexpected sources in one’s life (Licht, 1983). However, the teachers pained me and one of them healed me as well. I received motivation from the external source because I was hopeless and pessimistic towards my life, but I needed a kick in the back in order to go to the extra mile that made me different from all others who lived and breathe through the same air as I did. I am humbly thankful to those who supported me and gave me the energy to get across the unthinkable. Nevertheless, motivation will not help oneself in performing the activities that he or she wants, but one has to take charge of the life on their own so that they can outshine others. The secret of success lies within the ability to think positive, and if one has a negative mindset towards the life then, his or her efforts will not meet success because he or she will quit too early. The nature has the mysterious ways of testing oneself and he or she does not have to give up in order to attain greatness in life. The humans have to keep moving forward in order to evolve into a set of better beings. The setbacks are the part of one’s success story, without them there will be no charm in the journey, there will be no joy as well, and therefore, one has to view hurdles as opportunities rather than identifying them as negativities. One will cherish the difficulties of the way more than anything after attaining what he or she wanted to have in life. The smoother roads do not make good drivers, and easy lives do not produce good humans. Philosophical Learning The teacher who made my life a purposeful one did not solve my problems for me, but he gave me the key that can do that for me. He blessed me with the belief that human effort can change the destiny of nations. He also guided me to enjoy the life as well so that it does not become burdensome in the long run. He ate his food with the relish. He laughed at little things, and he had a very vast circle of friends as well. He told me that I should not take the life seriously so that I do not lose mind over realities of existence. He impressed me to think of the world as a classroom, and everyday will teach oneself some new lessons if he or she is willing to learn (Roth, Assor, Kanat-Maymon, & Kaplan, 2007). The bad developments in life teach us more than the positive ones do. In this fashion, the humans have to understand that everything happens for a good and constructive reason. I spent a miserable and painful life because I have to find an ideal teacher at the end, and if things have not corrected themselves then one has to realize that it is not the end of the story. In life, when one tale ends another begins and each end is a new beginning as well. Evidence from Nature The sun sets and originates somewhere else so there is no point in losing hope even in the darkest periods of one’s life because dark at night brings the hope of a new day with it. One can have the opportunity to ponder about his or her life in the night, and one can have a good night sleep as well so one has to keep his or her hopes high in the direst circumstances. According to modern psychology, the worst times are impostures and therefore, one should stop taking themselves seriously when he or she thinks that life will not improve. Developments always happen, and weather changes. Winters go away, and springs come in. The life I spent witnessed the change from bad times to good ones. I learned that times are never good or bad, but how we treat them will define their nature and their impact on our lives. The humans have the utmost control on their lives, and their choices determine the overall happiness in their lives. I have a neurotic personality and therefore, I took charge of my life when I was presented by the chance to live a different life, even those who trained me were surprised with the development that I managed to achieve in a few years (Eyal & Roth, 2011). The growth of a person is like seeding a tree, and once it becomes a full grown once then, it provides shelter to the many. Psychological Rewards for the Teachers Changing life of a single person gives the teacher a sense of immortality because in this way, he added something into the world. The process of education will keep on moving forward. The students grow in order to develop into teachers of one kind or another. The chain reaction of intellectual development continues into the future. I was a student once, and I am now a manager who is attempting to make the same difference in others’ lives as somebody did in mine. I do not have that kind of influence on others as my teacher had on me. However, I am learning the art and science of leadership, and eventually, I will develop into a successful one in the distant future. I am glad that somebody gave me the gift of faith that I used in order to grow into an independent personality. The element of faith cancels all fear, and we emerge as the better and improved human beings. The goal of human development needs to be addressed in a free environment (Roth, Assor, Kanat-Maymon, & Kaplan, 2007) that l received in the class of leadership during my whole educational career so there is a belief within me that argues that one person who can do the right thing can cancel all the costs of those who did wrong with someone. The love of my teacher was practical in nature, and therefore, he spent time with me, and made an effort in order to develop me into a better human being. He was an emotionless man, but he fulfilled all philosophical requirements of love in the developmental case of mine. He did not make lofty claims, but he delivered results and psychological inventory to me that I am still applying in my life in order to develop even further. Conclusion This paper has a purpose of educating readers about the impact of teacher on the life of his students. The teacher is a beacon for all of his pupils. He plays the game of motivational science by strengthening the powers of his followers. I had something in me, but I was fearful towards sharing it with others so my teacher told me to listen to my heart, and do whatever it tells me to engage in. He guided me that I have to be fearless in front of the crowds, and all they can do is kill me, but there is afterlife after death so there is no point in being afraid of the people because they are not going to increase the number of years that we have to spend in this world. He always encouraged me to do the right thing, and I am following his civic leads ever since. I touched so many lives, and made the difference where I could, but in the end, I consider myself as the tool of God that he uses in order to help his children in bad times.
