            I believe that knowledge is cumulative and that education is unending, is different from information, and is a result of finely processed information. Additionally, I believe education is important not only to help get a job but also for other aspects of life. The college has strengthened my beliefs and since I took the class, I am more convinced of the truth I these beliefs (Tuckman 35). 

            One of my stressors as a college student is examinations. Funds are a stressor for me as a college student because when I notice that I running out of money, I get worried about how I will survive until I get some more. I manage the stress that arises from examinations by revising with friends who encourage me. I manage the stress that comes with running short of funds by calling home or borrowing from friends and refunding them later (Tuckman 36).

            Kinesthetic learning is my learning style because I like getting hands-on experience with what I learn. My learning style has changed to a combination of kinesthetic and social learning. My ideal learning environment is intellectually stimulating, safe, and with positive energy. Silence and safety are the conditions that help me study most effectively (Tuckman 37).         

            Outlining is the note-taking strategy that I find the most useful. It helps me keep track of the different concepts of a major topic. I have improved my note-taking skills by combining outlining note-taking strategy with mind mapping to enhance my memory. I have tried the note-taking methods discussed in the textbook and I have noticed that they improve my comprehension of the material being covered (Tuckman 38).

            Taking this class has improved my reading and studying skills by equipping me with better ways of analyzing the ideas I read and study. This class has improved my reading and studying skills by helping me understand the conditions under which I read and study most effectively. I annotate textbooks and I find it an effective strategy in studying and learning course material because it helps highlight the major ideas of the text (Tuckman 40).

            Practicing in front of a mirror is one of my most helpful rehearsal strategies. Reciting information off head is another rehearsal strategy that helps me assess how much I can remember. I participate in study groups because they help me get different perceptions about a given concept. Study groups help me correct my wrong perception of an idea (Tuckman 41). 

            Auditory learning strategy is one learning strategy that I need to learn to be successful in college. Visual learning strategy is another learning strategy that I will need to learn to benefit more from demonstrations and graphics. I would like to be taught how to improve my retention of what I learn in class. The section of this course that I found most useful is time management (Tuckman 43).
