Case Management Presentation Case Management Presentation (Case Study) Introduction This study is based on case management as leant on Henderson and Thompson book “counseling Children," chapters 1-7. The case study is set to address three presenting problems (Henderson and Thompson, 2011).2. DevelopmentalWe are going to look at barriers that children face in their healthy development. It I will involve reflecting on the various developmental theories discussed in Henderson and Thompson book such as Piaget’s stages of cognitive development, Freud’s psychosexual stages, Selman’s descriptions and Erickson’s theory of social development.3. Social and CulturalThe social culture focuses on the world’s cultural influences on the child plus the implications that diversity has about counseling children.

Other points include identity development and focus on particular groups (Henderson and Thompson, 2011).4. AcademicsChildren need the opportunities to interact with themselves and learn. They are determined to succeed in school and better futures. Therefore, they are influenced by the guidance on the adulthood that surrounds them.Case siteI will conduct my study in the next Kindergarten that hosts over one hundred and fifty children. This will include at ten percent sample of children between the ages of four and eight years; Interest being on those who have started speaking to those who have developed speeches.5. Information CollectionThe interview and observation provide information that from sessions that will be recorded in the field books for analysis and reports.

Ethical /Legal DilemmaThe children to be counseled or observed must be willing to participate in the study.
