This fact has been proved through priming. Priming involves a process where people improve their performance by doing certain things for which they have been subconsciously prepared. A good example is people tying their shoelaces or even riding bicycles (O'Donnell & Jowett, 2005). These activities are performed with the preparation of the subconscious mind but when they happen we are more likely not thinking about them.
This is also what is nonus non declarative memory or procedural which involves unconscious skills such as the one already mentioned above. Implicit memory is usually faulted by many scientists on the basis that it relies on the unconscious mind not forgetting that our memories blur after some time. Most of the propaganda is not usually facts and is usually one-sided. Politicians make the best of this phenomenon when they repeatedly say certain things about their opponents even if we know that whatever they say is wrong.
For this reason, politicians will use specific information to influence the opinions of the public.
