Grandiose delusion makes a person think that he is highly important or a celebrity and that everyone should recognize or appreciate him for his fame and talent. Jerome has an over-inflated sense of identity as a model and a singer despite he has been rejected in singing competition auditions, but he believes that those judges have no real sense of singing. This type of delusional disorder is quite rare, and proper professional assistance is needed for diagnosis and treatment (Shives, 2008). For Jerome, a medical test known as an electroencephalogram is suggested in order, to identify brain abnormalities and suitable treatment methods for him.
