Facets of managerial concern within the Royal Air Force: Organization Objective setting; this facet requires the manager of the Royal Air Force to review the purpose for which an organization comes into power. For example, the mission statement and discussion about its progressive maneuvering are of great significance to the Royal management. Periodic review assiduously stresses the need for the emergence of an organization fully managed and controlled. This should be the starting point for the supervisor and the staff to set organizational objectives about the unit‘s concentrative areas, thus adapted during the approaching objective setting period.

The goals upheld by staff members are as follows; to assist and guide the entire organization, and to guide subordinate managers to formulate their objectives. Consequently, by setting up organizational objectives, the Air Force should take a mission statement as a goal that epitomizes the continuing purpose of an organization.MBO program helps to create techniques to accomplish the mission. After the writing phase comes the participative management step. The subordinate manager negotiates with his boss to affirm the objectives and the boss accepts it.

For this realistic commitment becomes essential from both sides. Affirmation of the objective signifies the approval of expected results as they come from the subordinate. Success can be procured with the results until the standard is confirmed or the goal is changed. Managing process is the responsibility of the subordinate manager and can be disrupted by mutually arranged, formal review sessions with the commander. This implies that each member is given the freedom to perform a well-defined task without any intermittent intervention.

Objective reviews are of two types – intermediate and final 6. Intermediate review determines the progress and failure of accomplishing goals, particularly problem areas that impede the success of a particular goal. The feedback for the intermediate review session will be decided as either to agree on the plan to resolve the matter of objectives to be accomplished, or to change the objectives. The final review ascertains the consummation of goals obtained. Thus the subordinate’s objectives are reviewed for the entire period.
