Meteorites of California While at the museum in Los Angeles, I saw the California Meteorites displayed. The exhibit was fascinating. I liked the individual fragments that were displayed in the glass. There were shining tiny diamond-like fragments that indicated the value of the meteorites. Some of the cracks and texture of the meteorite fragments appear to indicate the age of the meteorite. The order in which they were arranged and displayed alongside the map that indicated their original position was so insightful.
The California meteorite shows off treasures of different sort. I liked the display of small shining tiny diamond-like fragments that tells more about the insides of meteorite. The meteorite caught my attention and that of other observers following its display in the museum in Los Angeles. The California meteorite has a long history. The California meteorites have 10-micron diamond grains embedded in its parts. These are smaller grains than what is normally used in diamond rings. However, their diminutive size still bigger that the size that is normally found in meteorites.
These suggests what could have been in existence in the parent cosmic body that ultimately broke apart and produced the meteorites of California before the fragment slammed into the surface of the Earth. When it smashed into the ground, it attracted many professionals who raced to pick its fragments before any kind of pollution could occur to the samples. The meteorites have remained a significant comic jackpot since April 22, 2012. The meteorites of California remain very pivotal in the history of earth and meteorological sciences.
