Become What You Think - Thesis Example

Various questions arise in the mind – is the world that we see around us not the reality? The human forms around us – are they not real? What about the trees and plants and so many different life forms? How can we deny the existence of the human body that we have? What then is the reality? What is the nature of reality? What is this inner world that we often hear of? If there is an ‘inner world’ there must be an ‘external world’ otherwise there would be no need to qualify something as the ‘inner world’.

I have been hearing of several people who claim to have changed their lives through the power of their own thoughts. Several books to are available that narrate first-hand experiences of people. I have been finding them fascinating and started believing that we are all metaphysicians in our life. However, the mind also matters just as the body is matter. We need to travel beyond the mind and this is the journey to the inner world. We need to discover the potential that we all have in this inner world from which we have shut ourselves out.

This is the process of re-programming, the process of self-inquiry, and the journey towards self-development.I have often wondered why people are so different from one another. Why do two people think and behave differently when it is the same energy flowing through both? Why is one a criminal and another a saint? Can we change things we do not like about ourselves? As I started delving deep into the Self, unknown revelations surfaced from within. I started believing in the potential that we all have stored within.

However, this requires a firm determination to know the Self, to know the potential that we have, and to become what we want to become.The study of metaphysics has motivated me to know more about how we can heal ourselves through positive thinking. All diseases are supposed to be psychosomatic in nature and it is said that if we can change our thought process, the physical ailment can be cured.
