Disaster relief assessment Disasters are unavoidable sometimes as nature has more power than human beings. So it is always an important task to avoid the situation which creates hindrances in human life. There are innumerable mental tensions for the humans which may be due to the social set ups but there are also some natural calamities and hazards which are always a threat to the living. So disaster relief assessment has become an important concept to be focused upon. In the recent times, human beings have faced a lot of natural disasters of huge magnitude.
Disaster management has thus become a very important science. Many government level and individual level steps are being taken so that there could be a great improvement in the situation handling such disasters. Natural disasters include earthquakes, floods, volcanic activities, tornadoes, cyclones, typhoons and severe storms. There should be the proper planning of the goals and the communication facility must be improved greatly. Proper task forces should always be ready who can tackle the situation in their own innovative way.
Steps should be taken so that there can be proper thought about the situation by which it will be much easier to represent things that can be done. Theoretical approach can help to take a bigger step when the problem arises. The insurance and healthcare services should be improved so that the emergency situations can be responded effectively (Eisenman et. al. 2007). Disaster relief assessment also includes the development in the telecommunication facilities. The officials should be trained virtually so that they can be able to do things in a proper way and will have the ability to face all types of disasters.
Educational programs can be undertaken so that the people can be alert about the various types of diseases and then they can take some minimum steps when they face such situations (Forgette, et. al., 2009). More steps should be taken towards the protection of the environment and other natural factors so that the disasters can be avoided and the people can be made aware of the different things so that there can be clutch on the factor.
