Inserts His/her Inserts Inserts Grade Inserts Here (Day, Month, Year) Attend a live concert (during this year and report on it). On 6 April 2011 at 8:30 pm, I attended a concert of Duran Duran at Warehouse Live, Houston, Texas, USA. The music was mostly rock and pop. It was a combination of new and old hits. The song “Wolf” is more than just a great pop tune with a magnificent chorus and one of the songs that can entertain the people easily. It was also the first attempt across the bend over as MTV overtook radio.
Much was done by Duran’s physical appearance and their managers’ forethought in using video to hurl their charges to highlight the quality of work. They swayed to an older theme of songs in order to re-engage the beauty of 1982-83 for four splendid minutes. All enormous bands – and some middling ones – have some songs which are their identity. In a profession full of big hits, “Wolf” is Duran’s summit. People were completely crazy about them. They were dancing and enjoying each and every song.
They did not miss a single chance to appreciate the band for their enormous efforts to entertain the audience. Naturally, the achievement of the show depended upon the deliverance of the classics. Whether it was early-’80sfull of attitude animosity (a towering “Friends of Mine”) or breath-taking, entertaining pop (“The Reflex”), the band performed the task outstandingly. Roger drove people crazy by playing “Careless Memories” with his specialized drum fills. John’s prodigy bass patterns in “Rio” left him finger bending at song’s end, He was awarded with a great round of applause for his efforts and a beautiful song which he played amazingly.
The band reflected a great picture of teamwork and harmony. People who have doubt about their motives and unity were proved wrong this time as the band put forth a mind-blowing example of perfect team work. At some times the concert made me emotional and at some special songs I was lost in the music. I missed all those friends who were not able to attend the wonderful concert. It made me emotional as well as excited at the same time. It made me think of great team spirit, and an amazing effort to entertain the audience.
And I thought that the crazy fans would have heard the band saying “Do every thing you can do because it is for the audience”. Overall it was a good experience and I will prefer and consider going to the other concerts of the band. The concert was an image of great visual and technological work with wonderful lightings and an outstanding sound system which added to the charm of the concert. Alongside a dimly lit background, Nick Rhodes was the first to come out, the sight of his disheveled, blond bob drawing out the first screams from the apprehensive crowd.
Roger Taylor and John Taylor appeared next, amalgamating Rhodes on the thrilling “Planet Earth” music. If you were in the center of the audience, as I was, your vision of the stage came with a opaque row of Smartphone screens skilled stage right, in anticipation of Simon Le Bon‘s entry. The crowd cheered, fists shoved upwards, the increasing body warmth in the room dissolute in an electrolyte hurry, and before you realized it, you were one of a large number of people in a crowded club and Duran Duran were just a feet away, initiating into “Hungry Like The Wolf.
” Last concert I attended was of Lady Gaga. The major difference between the two concerts was that “the Duran Duran” was all about fun enjoyment and entertainment while at “lady Gaga’s concert there were certain songs which were touchy and they were sung with great emotions which made me weep for an instance. Another difference was that Lady Gaga changed her costumes with each and every song and so did the pack of dancers who was dancing behind her. But the members of Duran Duran were wearing the same costume throughout the concert I must say this did not affect their performance at all.
At this concert I enjoyed great team work and an amazing effort to entertain the audience while at Lady Gaga’s I enjoyed a new height of solo performance. Lady Gaga performed very confidently and she reflected a complete “Era of entertainment and pop”. I enjoyed both the concerts very much and it was a soothing and pleasing experience and it refreshed me completely.
