Most surveys conducted indicate that most healthcare practitioners fail to advance in terms of opportunities. A staggering 50 percent of health care practitioners claim that they fail to see enough advancement in terms of opportunities in their related health sector (Pozgar, 2010). Health care practitioners also tend to experience challenges and issues relating to work overload. In most cases, public health practitioners tend to be overloaded with the growing demand for healthcare in the 21st century (Pozgar, 2010).

Lastly, most health care practitioners tend to experience problems with a poor salary.
