Three stages of critical thinking development: Dualism: the belief that things are either wrong or right; Relativism: acknowledging that not all things are right/wrong, and then thinking all views are equally applicable, and lastly, Commitment: selecting a position based on cautious thinking. Judith Boss has established that many of her students attend class at the relativism juncture. She guides students to the concluding phase of the development of critical thinking by showing students the significance of triumphing over their feelings and views to commit to positions depending on logic as well as reason. In the process, the students learn to be relevant critical thinkers in their everyday lives (Boss, 2015).

Women often use communication to find out feelings and what the persons they are addressing want to say. As opposed to men who prefer face-to-face when communication comes to closeness, women are more contented besides a man. Women have a tendency to make more eye contact when communicating with men (Boss, 2015). They do this due to their nature to be psychologically connected.
