Applying for Receipt of Psychiatric Nursing EducationWhy are you applying to this particular graduate nursing program at this time? The modernnursing staff needs to incorporate psychological theory in their profession so that they can expedite the process of healing in their patients. The latest research suggests that physical illnesses have psychological causes. The patients cannot heal entirely without provision of the psychological help. I am applying to this graduate nursing program becauseI am in a constant quest for improving my professional studies and enhancing my expertise and skills in the field of Psychiatric nursing education.

The issue is simple because I feel that I can do more for my patients, but I cannot do it. There is a new pattern emerging in the field of nursing that wants to integrate knowledge of psychiatryin the practice of regular medical science. On the other hand, I will become more than capable of remaining true to my oath that I took in order to uphold the standards of nursing that Nightingale practiced for the first time in the history of medical science[Wil01]. I am already a practicing nurse;it will not be a problem for me to learn integration of psychiatric nursing theory into my field.

However, I know that I will not become a complete professional in the field of psychiatric nursing education. I will be able to apply basic psychology in order to help in the process of healing in the patients. At the same time, human resource management is becoming an integral part of the hospitals, by any luck, I will make a head-nurse one day, and the education of psychiatrywill help me in terms of selecting good people. By undergoing the graduate nursing program, I will be able to polish my skills and further professionally help people deal with psychiatric related issues.

Write an essay that tells the admissions committee something about yourself that is not apparent from your application and that you think would influence our decision. The atmosphere was frightening for everyone; I was walking down the path from Community Park towards home with a heavy heart. I was extremely sad at the situation we all were facing. Everywhere silence was observed as we were all facing the events of civil war. Children had fear in their eyes, hurting another human being in terms of mental and social torcher was unbearable for me.

The civil war happenings were having a profound effect on me. It was making me determined in going out of the way to help humanity regardless of any discrimination. This was the turning point of my career approach because I could understand the mental stress that humans face under civil war. Being deprived of basic necessities just to gain and power and status by another group leads to disastrous results for people living within the community. I was always active as a child, and I participated in community services with zeal and zest.

However, I was junior in terms of years, but I had a commitment towards the social work. The civil war effects led me towards being empathetic with people having mental health issues. It significantly contributed in making me a nurse. I was satisfied with my professional development in early years, but nowadays, I am getting feeling that I have to educationally grow myself in order to keep my job so I have to include some kind of novelty in my professional engagement in order to make. I am pretty much attached to my work.

The concept of social and civil service is utmost importance for me in my professional life.I find my patients improperly healed in psychiatricterms. I want to do more for them in order to satisfy myself. I am working for the society because I want to, and since I underwent the situation of civil war, I can comprehend what people face under stress and wars. I want to evolve into a better human being. In the conquest of doing so, I will need moreeducation in psychiatric nursing.I know that I have to work hard in order to maintain tough routine of doing my current job, and going back to school as well, but I am willing to put in the effort.
