In phase 2, they used unstructured focus group interviews to allow the participants to expand on their responses from the questionnaire. The questionnaire was validated by a multidisciplinary palliative care committee, who deemed it appropriate for use. Allen S. and smith maintained a clear audit trail through the journaling technique. There was a correlation between the questionnaire and the focus group data. Ethics approval consent was sought from the University Ethics Committee. Permission was also granted from the hospital’s ethics committee in the rural facility. In addition, the participants were assured of independence and confidentiality, and they gave a written consent.
In the analysis and discussion of the results four major themes emerged: understanding spirituality, assessment of spirituality, difficulties and education. Also, study limitations emerged. A focus group interview was not appropriate data collection method to use in the study. This was evident from the responses in the focus groups that the meaning of spirituality was inconsistent based on the individual understanding and belief. Also, the questionnaire did not provide an opportunity to give examples of spiritual care. According to the journal article, it is important for the health workers to realize the spirituality as an important component in delivering nursing care in any setting.

Unlike other industries, the health sector lags behind in its implementation of technology driven leadership structures (Porter-O’Grady, 2003). The article "A different age for leadership, Part 1" explores the issue of leadership and the increasing need to learn new skills among health workers.
According to the paper Kalisch and Lee provide the hypothesis of the study in the discussion section. Importantly, the researchers ensured that the hypothesis was in line with the research questions and objective of the study. Importantly, the hypothesis is in line with the structuring of a hypothesis in nursing research since it shows a relationship between two variables in a research study.
Ethical practices in nursing are enhanced through balancing ethical considerations with professional standards and the appropriate legislation (Heaton , 2008). Effective implementation of ethical practices in nursing mostly requires the involvement of individuals as well as teams.
The participants were asked regarding the onset of chewing difficulty, an important component of oral health-related quality of life (OHRQoL). The result was approximately 22% of participants reported tooth loss during follow up. The most common prosthodontic treatment was fixed prosthodontic (crowns and bridges).
