Increased global disparities among nations gave rise to Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) in which 189 countries became signatories. With this, eradication of poverty, gender inequality, diseases, and supporting countries with vulnerable health systems became the tenets of better health performance. In this regard, the role of entities involved namely private institutions, nurses, government, and issues surrounding their functioning like their composition, degree of control and autonomy, training and development, and geographical and cultural factors; has been highlighted by Kabene et al. (2006). Healthcare services are marked by professionalism, dedication, and expert service and as claimed by the authors, human resources management in this regard should enjoy a strategic position with a considerable amount of decision-making freedom, a decentralized working environment, and multifaceted professionals with an understanding of finance, marketing and other domains which could help them nurture a culture supporting global health agenda.

Implications of the findings for nursing practiceIn light of the above findings, it becomes crystal clear that responsibility and accountability are going to rise in professional nursing practice. Apart from normal care, nurses are now entrusted with dedicated care and social service which aims to better the overall social fabric of the country. Secondly, with so many hierarchical levels and players entering the healthcare field, it is getting important for nurses to become articulated and gain knowledge of several functions to help in the strategic management of the organization and play a contributing role in the decision-making process.

This is anchored by the fact that healthcare services are by the people and for the people. As such, nurses ought to have a say in the governance issues so that actual observations are made available to the top management. Implications of the findings for patient outcomesObviously, expectations and patient outcomes are going to augment with think global, act local perspective. Education, eradication of diseases, and generating awareness about global diseases namely HIV and others top the list of patient outcomes now (Fried et al, 2010).

Careful research and monitoring of these patient outcomes will equip nurses and other practitioners in understanding the healthcare services' progress and needed steps to improve.RecommendationsAfter analyzing the findings, it is recommended that more collaboration should be developed between patients, nurses, and other entities for a two-way response system and better delivery and feedback. Also, cross-boundary disparities have to be done away with by means of prioritized goals as it is meant for the overall benefit of the community.

This thing should be taught to the different players through adequate training at all levels and fostering a supportive environment guided by a democratic control system.
