Listening to the lyrics of Tim McGraw’s Live like you were dying, it was as if the song was directed to me. Maybe I am just being a little sensitivelately learning the news that my dearest aunt is diagnosed with liver cancer and now lives on a borrowed time. That line that goes “And a moment came that stopped me on a dime, I spent most of the next daysLooking at the x-raysTalkin bout the optionsAnd talkin bout sweet time" Was as if my personal story as it relates on us learning the news. Its a harrowing feeling of which I believe my aunt is aware of that she tries to cheer everybody up like her usual self.

But this time is poignant, even difficult, and never the same because we know that we are going to loose her. Perhaps the song was really for me. For me to love her deeper and sweeter and to do it all over again while we still have the time.2.
