Patrick was born in Scotland in the year 387. When aged just fourteen years, St. Patrick was captivated and was taken to Ireland for the purpose of enslaving and looking after the herds of sheep. He returned to Great Britain and met his family. But again soon after the event, he again had another dream where the people of Ireland had urged him to return to the country to save them. In the year 433, St. Patrick was ordained as Bishop, and soon after he returned to Ireland to serve humanity as well as the religion. The Great Spirit had great contributions in civilizing a major portion of the population of Ireland as he served the society for more than twenty–five years in lieu of preaching Christianity. St. Patrick had many miracles in his credit that have been confirmed by him in the confessions to God.

There have been various instances that depict the greatness of St. Patrick which in turn makes the soul most admirable. The Christian monk had considerable efforts to bring in the Irish populace under the purview of the church. His relentless efforts for almost that of three decades had worth mentioning the impact on the nation. St. Patrick did not get afraid even after he was threatened for life by a tribal chief of Ireland. It is regarded that St. Patrick played a pivotal role in having snakes removed from the country of Ireland.
