Being a quick and portable source of communication, it has eased the whole process of communication. The mobile technology has improved with unprecedented innovation never imagined when it first came out in the market. From the simple voice call to the inclusion of short text messages, the mobile system has incorporated voice recording, video capture, digital camera, PDA (personal digital assistant) functions, television and live online streaming, and internet and satellite interconnection. Nowadays, every person can be seen with a cell phone nearly.

However, mobile technology is more a nuisance than a necessity. People were able to live a prosperous live without cell phones and mobile technology. By adopting mobile technology, we have taken up a nuisance that is always ready to bother us at every time. Mobile technology is a nuisance when used in educational settings such as classrooms and they become a reason for education disruption. Mobile technology used in classrooms is highly disadvantageous for the students of the class. Students misuse mobile phones for entertainment purposes due to which, their classroom attention is diverted.

According to Headley (2009), the students can make use of mobile technology in classrooms for sending and receiving messages that can interrupt the class, they can use cell phones for cheating purposes that is again a big disadvantage for their learning and they can also use the cell phones for the sending nude pictures that can be bad for their moral development. Lynne (2007) informs that cell phones are necessary in a classroom because students can take many benefits from them such as mathematical calculations, taking pictures of lectures, sending text messages to absent students and so on.
