Reports of repairs and installations are generated in the form of paper report by a service engineer who repairs the machine on site. These reports are then submitted to company headquarters. Reports have been generated in different forms like electronic, paper etc. For the current system engineers often draw solutions to current problems from previous reports submitted. They also are required to go through design and specifications of different models which may be currently in use or are obsolete.
Customer does not have access to process parameters required to produce quality goods. The only time customer learns process is when first time machine was installed.
