Features Necessary for a Business Website of the Study The paper is assessing the necessary features that any business needs in order to enable positive performance towards meeting its goals. The study narrows down to comparing the features present in websites of Marathon Petroleum Corporation and Saudi Aramco. The study compared observable features available on each website. In addition, the use of a survey enabled analyzing customer’s perception and level of satisfaction in various services.
The Survey was availed to the customers through the social media pages of the two companies. The customers were to complete the survey in order to assess their level of satisfaction. Furthermore, the survey was to gather the expectations of the consumers.
Purpose of the Study
The aim of this research is to find out the necessary features a given company’s website needs to have in order to meet its objectives. The choice of this project was because websites are essential in marketing products and providing information to clients and potential employees. However, in some cases the improper presentation of a business websites makes it fail in aiding the business achieves its objectives.
Rationale
This paper informs both the potential business owners and the current business owners of the essentials of a company’s website. Because the success of any business depends on meeting the customers expectation using the use of consumers as variables will bring about informed decisions. For illustration, the given company might realize what additional services their clients would need. Therefore, the rationale for this paper is to provide the essential information required for any business website. In addition, perform an informative role of the functions of various sections of a business website through comparing the website of Saudi Aramco and Marathon Petroleum Corporation.

i. Provide necessary information regarding the features necessary for a business website.
ii. Inform potential business owners of the importance of business websites.
iii. Provide information about the essential features of various sections of the website.
iv. Emphasize on the purpose of a business website.
