Same Sex Marriage Same sex marriage is a type of marriage in which both of the participants belong to same gender identity. If both of the members are male, the couple in general is known as gay whereas in case of female couple, it is known as a lesbian couple (Olsen and Allene 78). It varies with the cultures and values of several countries and region about whether this phenomenon is acceptable ethically or not. In many countries like Muslim countries or other such as China, Japan, Korea, United Kingdom and United States (in many parts), these kinds of marriages are not permissible by law and governance. It is a social ordinal issue for what family life is being strongly affected through these transformations. The changing trends of family life are hazardous for long term family and social issue. The most emerging trend in most of the western countries is gay or lesbian marriage (Moats and David 32). The psychological disorder is basically reported behind the phenomenon. It is not natural hence it must not be permissible by law. However, the organizations supporting for human rights believe that everyone has the right to spend his or her life according to their own wishes and aspirations. There are many medical issues related with this case. It although is not taken as a good sign whether if it is permissible by law. The countries in which it is permissible are Brazil, Argentine, Spain, Sweden, Canada, South Africa and Mexico (West and Robin 45). The religious aspect of same sex marriage is divergent to the permission. Almost every religious teaching is against these sorts of marriages. It is backed by a complete campaign. The supporters are in support as a collective cohesion in the society. However it is psychologically, medically and socially ill proven phenomenon since long. The premiers of these marriages were not even aware of adverse consequences of this issue (Dryden and Caroline). The social disorders and family structure mismatch issues are associated with same sex marriage exclusively. A number of organizations are working to make these marriages banned across because of increasing damages being reported in the last decade. It is very dangerous for social systems and values. It is sign of anxiety in the people’s minds that makes them forced to do this (Olsen and Allene 11). According to Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, Lesbian Gay Bisexual (LGB) persons usually suffer from adverse psychiatry disorders of disparity. These inferiority complexes further are transmitted to the children they adopt. A child can never be grown up by same sex couple as it could be done by a naturally married couple. A research shows the adverse results of same sex marriages over children; it reveals that children of little ages take a complex impact of growing under such couples. They are usually failed in looking after the kids properly. Another academic research reveals that only biological mother and father can understand the untold wishes of their kids. The adopted parents (or sometime step parenting) are deprived of the natural parenting effects (Dryden and Caroline 61). The social gathered effects of gay or lesbian marriages are foresighted. The myopia created by human rights organizations is a true propaganda for nothing. It is only peeping in to the matter for the sake of publicity and being a part of daily news headlines. The media stunts used by such organizations affect adversely on the lives of citizens. They are forced to think that this is a right way for them to carry on. It is a great deal if political leaders are also found supportive for these marriages (Olsen and Allene 67). The social deprivation is because the children are usually taught about the uniqueness of their parents’ relationship status and how it is different from other natural parents. It is a weakest part of same sex marriages with adopted children. Children get anxiety very soon and ultimately it causes long term psycho diseases (West and Robin 70). The history of these emerging trends is alike. The kids of broken or single parent families are found in these activities more after getting independent. It is for the sake of adventure in the beginning but with the passage of time, it becomes the means of joy and continuous satisfaction like intoxication for self. It is very hard to stay away from such activities if once an individual has indulged in these. The divergence of natural marriages and homo sexual marriages is psychological agreement. The attraction is for similar gender rather than found in opposite (or heterogeneity) (Moats and David 32). The American Social Association is working for putting a ban over such marriages to save the environment and society from the adverse effects. It is thought to be accomplished before it comes in to a trend or a means of fashion. Nowadays it is considered unethical while it is intended to put a stamp that it is unethical. The health issues must be revealed in front of general public such that they must know the effects of such activities. The impacts of gay marriages are adverse and more damaging as compared to lesbian marriages however lesbian marriage is more psychologically hazardous (Dryden and Caroline 77). It is against the legal definition of sexual procedure which is justified as X and Y sex determination system. The actual reason which is why it does not get legalized identity in several liberal countries. The root causes for severe and rare diseases is same sex marriages. It is being discouraged by health organizations internationally. The core recommendations may be generalized as spreading the awareness about the damages and hazards. The damages are long term and start appearing after when the time is passed. The social, legal and religious ethics also does not permit to indulge in such activities because it is against the rules of nature.
