I could also find out more from our colleagues who were previously assigned in Japan and have had diverse working experiences. I can therefore gather guidelines and techniques that would improve our business transactions with them.
I would follow your advice to smile a lot; to listen without interrupting and to learn to accept the blame when misunderstandings in communication could ensue. I am sure that when I develop a level of proficiency in their language, lesser miscommunications would occur.
I look forward to the new assignment and I assure you that you will be apprised on new updates and developments that would happen between our Kansai office and our head office, as needed. Again, my sincerest thanks and best regards to you.
I am scheduled to take a vacation from the period July 17 to July 24 of 2012 and am therefore interested to take my family for a houseboat vacation. I have three kids and together with my wife, we plan to go to the California Delta area. We have never done this before, but it sounds interesting.
Please send me any information you may have. I will have to make my vacation plans soon. I am particularly interested to find out details on rental costs and insurance, amenities (television set, bedding, kitchenware), and the needed orientation to operate the houseboat, if any. I would also appreciate if you can advise on the boundaries within which the houseboats could be safely and appropriately maneuvered. Lastly, reservation details would be expected and appreciated; including any options to extend the vacation to another week, if possible.
The rental fee for a houseboat is $175 per day or $1,000 per week which already include insurance. The houseboat is complete with amenities such as a TV set, bedding, dishes and kitchenware. We can also provide an AM/FM radio and a CD player upon request.
We have a houseboat available for July ...Download file to see next pagesRead More

...Chapter 18 Conference Report: Resume and Application Letter Writing I. Introduction Resumes and applications letters are very important selling tools for a job hunter. ...We begin our lives as a blank slate, ready to be written on by the experiences of those around. We emulate our parents and follow their dictates in life. As we enter our adolescent years, we come to understand that those around us have beliefs and ambitions for us that may not be what we want for ourselves. It is that turning point in our lives that comes at just the right time in college. For those of us about to about to embark on a college career, this chapter in our lives marks the beginning of our journey towards “oneself”. ... Q3. Discuss the idea of God being omnipresent. What are the implications of this? The term omnipresence is a characteristic of God indicating His presence everywhere and at a similar time. This is common in various religious contexts such as Islam, Christianity, and Judaism. In most religions, a superior or deity being is accorded the attribute of omnipresence. Monotheists believe in the presence of one powerful God who is omnipresent to all His creations as well as above and outside His creation (Ashbaucher 15). Various sacred books reveal the presence of God everywhere. For instance, in the book of Psalms 33: 13- 14, God looks down from heaven and sees all the offspring of man (New Jerusalem Bible, Psalms 33: 13- 14... Q3. Discuss the...

...Full Passion unto Passion Abigail Adams advises that “Learning is not attained by chance but rather is sought for with ardor and diligence”. I strongly agree with this wife and mother of great political leaders who is full of wisdom and courage. Learning does not simply come to the affluent or the intelligent. It is gained by the passionate and hard-working student. Nevertheless, learning can be more productive when the student is given an equally eager and conscientious teacher. As such, it is my desire to transfer to George Fox University because I believe the school has the qualities that match my needs. I first heard about the school from a friend who transferred from the school I currently go to. From then on, I have been... Passion...

Development as a Writer

...changes in writing application that I have learned in this course. Firstly, I learned that writers are motivated by particular situations or incidences to come up with creatively written information. This makes sense because writers can produce good quality of written art only when they are interested in the subject they are writing about. For example, considering the Muller’s argument on “Nuclear Waste”, it is evident that the writer was responding to issues concerned with the risks posed by nuclear energy waste material to human beings. This shows that the writer was motivated to research and identify the dangers caused by nuclear waste material. In addition, it is important to note...
