Short Answers PART ONE PLEASE Comment On THESE 2 PEOPLE DISCUSSIONS AND NO NEGATIVE comments THANK YOU Person Should all countries insist that all children be in school?  To what level?  What is the answer for families who insist they need their children to help with the work?  Do a web search.   Are there any international groups which promote education and literacy in developing countries?   I think that all countries should insist that all their children should be in school at least until middle school is completed, which will leave you at the age of usually 13 or 14. At that time these children are old enough to work for their families and are surer if they would like to continue their study’s, or go into the work field for their families. If a family still chooses that their own child needs to work in order for the family to go on, then 13 or 14 is an age where in other countries children have never reached, therefore it will be sort of an accomplishment. Education for All (EFA) was launched in Thailand in 1990 and 10 years later 176 countries were ready to gather to see and compare improves to revise and adjust for the better and for the future. A lot of countries have made it a priority to put education first, and we just need all countries as time goes on to do the same. YOUR Comment HERE: Yes, I agree with this view. Educated children have better understanding and knowledge about their surroundings, wellbeing and awareness. Children at the age of 13- 14 years are quite aware, they can read and write and can understand the situation and therefore it is the need of time for the developing nations to march ahead and make education essential for the betterment of the children, the future citizens. Person #2 I think all countries should insist on all children being in school at least to the high school level. Why education is important is due to the possibility of a career change later in life. For those who don’t hold a high school diploma or specialization, the options for a career change are often limited. I understand in most countries they would rather their child to work instead of school, but here in America there are people that work and go to school. YOUR Comment HERE: Children are directed for education for career that is true and better degrees often provide a better job prospects. If a person has a diploma or a specialization then his/ her chances to procure a job will always be bright as compared to the one who left the school and has started working. No doubt the one who has started working earlier has more experience as a time factor but is not technically sound as compared to the one who possess the qualification. It is therefore essential for the children to go to the school develop the skill, understanding and then start with the work for the family, so I agree with the view. What are potential issues that may occur in the work place due to relationships that evolve from meeting at the work place? Your thoughts? Person #3 I feel that my employer shouldn’t have any right to regulate who I can see socially after hours because it’s not their life or business.  Although I believe if co-workers are socializing or in relationships together and are having issues they shouldn’t bring the issues into the work place, they should deal with it outside of work just as if they see and meet each other out of work. A few potential issues that may occur in the work place due to relationships that evolve from meeting at the work place is the fighting and bickering among the people involved in the relationship.  Their can also be jealously issues that most likely involve another co-worker and the two already in the relationship.  Having issues with others or any problem in the work area will create stress and great tension between the other co-workers who are not involved.  I believe people are socializing out of work to keep it out of work.  If it didn’t happen at work then it shouldn’t be dealt with at work and at office hours at that. YOUR Comment HERE: I agree with the view. People socializing outside after office hours should keep their issues outside only as it is not related to work so it should not be intruded in the work place as it is disturbing not only to the individuals involved but to others as well. Personal life and personal relationship and professional relationship should be considered as a separate issue not only for the good going but to keep away the stress. Person #4 I don’t think that an employer should have the right to regulate who we can see after work. We spend so much time with people at work that it is sometimes is nice to see them outside the office. And to be honest if you do meet your co-workers outside the office, all they talk about is work anyway.     I don’t really see a problem when co-workers become friends. It might even help the business since friends are more willing to help each other. When employees are getting along well they will work better in teams and the company will achieve better results. The only problem I see is when co-workers start dating. That makes it awkward for the other employees, especially when one person starts dating the boss. In that case I would say the employer should have the right to do something because the boss or manager probably will favor her/his partner. And even if he/she doesn’t favor the partner, people will think that. It just wouldn’t be fair to the other employees. YOUR Comment HERE: Yes, it is true that no one should interfere in others personal life, whom the other is seeing at what time and why to keep away stress. Meeting people and socializing is always good if they are colleagues and friends then their meeting could bring rewarding results as even outside the office major part of their conversation relates with heir work and work place. I agree that when the issue is related with dating the problem becomes serious as then the biased attitude may transpire which is not good for the healthy work atmosphere and also hinders the progress of the associates. Therefore the right of employer should be implemented to safeguard the work atmosphere. Person #5 Employers should not have the right to regulate who employees should socialize with after working hours. Everyone has that free right to choose whom hey would like to mingle with. Despite that there are issues that always occurs at the work place due to relationships that evolve. Some may be positive and negative. Some positive things include making friends who would be able to help another meet his/her dead line, learning from other employers who have more experience on the job in order to know how work can be done more efficiently and effectively, and of course making new friends. No man is an island thus this is unavoidable. Other negative issues that may develop is the mingling with close work associates who have negative influences on employees which may tend to let one not work hard enough. In conclusion, we all have the right to freely socialize because it is good but we all need to ensure that as we socialize we are not breaking any working codes or conduct, or misusing companies information loosely. YOUR Comment HERE: Socializing outside after the office hours cannot be considered as violating the laws, code and conduct but rather it aids in understanding towards each other. It is essential to build a common wavelength and this is done with formal and informal meetings and communications so as to develop better understanding and hence this is rewarding in terms of work as there is an appropriate understanding towards likes and dislikes and hence the employee will act accordingly in co-ordination to avoid misunderstandings and disturbing issues. Dating issues are objectionable and affects the atmosphere of the office in a appalling manner. Person #6 I personally dont believe it is possible to control the kind of relationship you will have with your coworkers. We have to remain respectful, polite and professional during work hours. But when it comes to after hours relationship, how easy is it to predict? If I feel like going out with my coworkers, I think its a good thing. It means that we get along. Getting along doesnt mean that we cant be professional. If we are not, we might put our job in jeopardy.  YOUR Comment HERE: I completely agree with the view. Meeting outside the office does not necessitate that there is something fishy going on between the colleagues. If the individuals involved possess respect for each other and remain dignified, respecting their profession as well then it is never a subject to any kind of objection but anything that matters to work atmosphere is really objectionable and can create difficulties in job as well as stress in personal life. Person #7 A lot of employers  think that out of the office relationships, not only the romantic ones can cause favoritism and or hostility.  However, the people involved are supposed to be grown adults and be able to separate work from social experiences.  We all know that doesnt happen.  I believe that people should be able to make their own choices right or wrong, that is all apart of growing up.  I have met some of my best friends through work experiences.  I have also lost friends, and even though we are no longer friends, we were still able to be civil towards one another while in the work environment. YOUR Comment HERE: Yes, I do agree with the view. It requires maturity to be professional in work. Well, those who act in a mature manner at their professional front never let their job suffer because of good or bitter experiences of the relationship. One cannot see the face of other but at the professional front if understanding is desired then they work well for the progress of the work and for the position of the business. Maturity keeps personal hostility away from the professional empathy. Level of maturity is worth rewarding. Comment: Nothing is permanent in this world. What is today on high demand may not be tomorrow. As creativity rules the world, one who comes with a better technology rules the world in the field and the competition is on its toughest phase. Gains of today may not be same tomorrow.
