of the riches and rewards it promises in the employment and career positions, it also consists of many issues which are usually overlooked given its benefits (Trice, 2003). Countries such as America, UK and Australia have been the center of attraction for foreign students (Trice, 2003). Factors such as best curriculum offered by world’s renowned and prestigious universities, pure English atmosphere, and career opportunities have made these countries the top choice for foreign education (Friesen, 2010).

Many students would argue between the pros and cons of acquiring education abroad in comparison to home country. The first point in discussion would always be about the exposure they would receive by studying in foreign country such as learning different culture, customs, and so on (Friesen, 2010). In the article ‘Strine sense of alienation’ (2006) it is said that in country such as Australia, a foreign student learnt that slippers are wore in classes. Studying abroad exposes the student to many opportunities that they cannot find in their own country such as the knowledge and expertise that they can acquire by learning advanced techniques in their field of study not available in the home country (Trice, 2003).

In addition to this, studying abroad helps in increasing the perception of the students in different spheres of life as well as understanding cultural aspects and communications (Trice, 2003). By studying in a foreign country the student is living and studying in a new culture which can help in understanding the significance of the home country’s values and cultures. Studying abroad can also help in acquiring new languages or sharpen the existing ones which can improve communication skills and educational development (Friesen, 2010).

The cross-cultural, multi-lingual and international skills acquired through foreign education can expand the student’s horizon for employment career opportunities. The international degree can help in gaining an
