The Use of Standards and Framework in Career and Technical (Vocational) Education Educational professionals have often recorded that occupational standards and frame works can be help to direct all the educational practices. The academic and vocationally- specific abilities of the workers need to accomplish special professional requirement levels. Effective implementation of education quality framework or standards is considered as one of the important guiding methods for students as well as the teachers. It provides skill developing proceedings for students, teachers and other educational employers and it also improves the educational program and practices for students. Education quality frameworks help to improve the career education field and it facilitates to develop instructional strategies and techniques. Educational program content should be mainly based on different occupational standards and different certification necessities in a given field. Vocational and technical education helps to develop the student’s skillful and brilliant nature. Career and technical education helps to organize the individuals for work through gaining of different knowledge and different professional skills and competition of their occupational field. One can see those vocational and technical slanderers, frameworks and other factors help to promote the entire workforce among the fields of technical education. Existing educational standards or frameworks are in the technical field based on occupationally-specific skills. Professional standards and certification requirements promote innovative and career developing programs. Through this vocational education students and educational professionals can design different education promoting programs. The standards are based on some enticements, where these standards and other effective measures have very strapping crash on all program management. All of the educational standard methods are very useful to people. Academic standards promote various processes such as, planning, implementation, project works, evaluation, assessment, feedback and motivation. A student from technical field would get the opportunity to specialize a particular field and develops his career. Standardization in project works, group works and vocational programs promote student’s proficiency level and the skill of problem solving. Frameworks or technical literacy standards promote technical base to the students and they can utilize computer, internet and other modern facilities in learning process. Especially in technical education and vocational education field both teachers and the students require necessary knowledge in technical field. Frameworks also help to approve every students and employees to verify their skill and knowledge and also permit the students skill in occupational areas. Researchers have often mentioned the fact that the effective careers education quality framework and standards play a vital role in vocational education and it acts as a guide for those who direct. The online article Careers Education Quality Framework explains that; “It provides teachers, careers specialists, school leaders and school communities with a practical tool for self-assessing Careers Education and developing action plans for improvement.” (Willet, 1999, p.4). Self-assessing, leadership quality, problem solving ability and the setting up of effective education plan are the essential features of an educational institution. Compare the use of standards in the K-12 system, community college and university Policy makers of educational field aim to the improvement of students but the use of standards in the K-12 system, community college and university do not integrate. “The lack of compatibility between K-12 and higher education policies and practices causes many problems.” (About the bridge project, 2006).  The existing structure of K-12 system, universities and community college is causing the problem of communication between different levels. In addition, absence of compatibility is the main difficulty for students when they enter college. The university education gives importance to the standardized lecture and multiple choice examinations. Community College standards go through information and skills to real occupational situations in various levels. “The best college education is the one that meets the interests of the students and will prepare them for the career they want.” (Who is college for? 2004, p.7). College or university study offers an ample intensity of comfortable awareness with a lot of issues and problems. K12 system of education is stressing on problem solving and collective activities. Standards K12 is limited; but it provides basic knowledge of different subjects. Why Technical Literacy Standards should be Included in Technical Education? Different standards and frameworks are useful for the teachers to implement effective instructional techniques and strategies. It also helps to make good relation with their students. Existing system of education in different areas such as K-12, community colleges and university level require the service of modern electronic medias for education. Followed by kindergarten; students are allocated into year cluster identified as grade, and concluded their schooling in twelfth grade. Successful standard systems are integrated in different schools and universities to obtain maximum number of score and results. Moreover, a frame work in the school is useful to understand how personal actions influence the wider society. Students should recognize the methods to build successful results by the framework. They can apply job information, and direct individual career strategies during the time of education. Vocational and industrial Education schedule provide students with the chance to apply educational information and skills to real-world situations in various occupational regions. There is the prospect of problem solving and critical analysis. By framework it is helpful to create alternative solutions. A framework must include identifying guiding principle, measures, and rules concerning health and protection in the place of work, as well as employers’ and workers accountability. It provides the significance of time organization to execute responsibilities.
