Why Do I Want to Study?
“All human actions have one or more of these seven causes: chance, nature, compulsions, habit, reason, passion, desire.” (Aristotle) Almighty God has created man out of His own image and gave him superiority over the fowl of the air and the fish of the water. Man’s entire superiority is based upon the intellect that regulates his activities and drives him to achieve something wonderful and great in life. It is, therefore, everyone has some aims and ambitions in life to win respect, fame, and financial achievements in life. The entire developments and progress that had been made during the course of time that altered the very style of human life, are the outcome of magnificent imagination and superb thoughtfulness that led man’s way cave-age of Paleolithic and Neolithic eras to the contemporary age of technologic advancement.

It is fact beyond doubt that nature has created billions of people with different physical and mental features and characteristics. It is, therefore, not only there can be observed individuality and uniqueness in their appearance, but also their actions, reactions, social behavior, and thinking are also quite different from others. “If any human being”, Bacon argues, “earnestly desire to push on to new discoveries instead of just retaining and using the old; to win victories over Nature as a worker rather than over hostile critics as a disputant; to attain, in fact, clear and demonstrative knowledge instead of attractive and probable theory; we invite him as a true son of Science to join our ranks.” It is man’s soaring ideas and extraordinary thinking that distinguish him from others. The same is the case with me. I was born in Saudi Arabia and got my early education in the same country. Since my father has high business ambitions and he travels wide from one country to the other in respect of corporate activities, I also got chances of traveling with him during these business tours. In the same way, our relatives and family friends live in the remote regions of the globe and we called on them time and again. There was a time, as I studied in books as well as on the internet when traveling was very hard and it took months to reach even the nearby areas on animal-backs or small boats. But the technological advancements have revolutionized each and every aspect of human life including traveling. Whenever I thought of reaching quite a different land and region of the world from my native land, the very idea regarding the wonderful invention i.e. airplane stroke my mind and it really fascinated me a lot. Gradually, I started thinking of leading the people towards their destination as a pilot of the airplane. The idea undoubtedly soared my imagination and supported my high aim of traveling widely as a commercial pilot from one region of the world to the other. I expressed my feelings before my parents, who encouraged me to turn my dream into reality.

My ambition sought no bounds when our family shifted to Canada, one of the most advanced nations of the world at large. Canada maintains hundreds of magnificent educational institutions including schools, colleges, academies, research centers, and universities offering coaching in multidimensional disciplines, subjects, and topics. I started searching out the most famous and distinct institution from where I came out as a highly proficient, trained, distinguished, efficient, expert, and dexterous commercial pilot. During the course of my research, I came to know the name of the University of Western Ontario Canada. To my astonishment, the university ranked as one of the best institutions for seeking education in the field of aeronautical studies. The university offers divergent programs in a comprehensive way to the students. In addition, the university has a gorgeous environment and sublime atmosphere, which looks ideal to learn how to fly and touch the height of the clouds and skies as well. Furthermore, the university has hired the services of highly qualified staff from all corners of the world to provide the students with the best possible coaching environment under a distinctive, comfortable, and pleasant atmosphere keeping in mind all the capabilities, proficiencies, and skillfulness required to become an expert commercial pilot. It maintains a wide range of latest technologies to teach the students all the technicalities applied and implied while flying. Moreover, there is a lot of practical flying opportunities to teach the students practical work on the one hand, and quench their thirst for flying more and more on the other. Someone had already suggested to me the name of the distinct university, and it was my heartiest feeling to get admission at a world-class university of the highest rank in order to soothe my passion and seek technical knowledge as well. It is, therefore, I aim to join the University of Western Ontario to become a highly educated, skilled, and learned commercial pilot to turn my childhood dream of flying the airplane while controlling, landing, flying, and diving with my own hands and out of my own free will to move towards the yonder lands and discover new worlds, new cultures, new societies and new people to my entire mental satisfaction.
