Instructions on how to hypnotize a person Hypnosis is a condition that is linked with the psychological behaviors where it affects the lives of the people on which it is acted upon in a manner that shows clearly the marked distinctions in their thinking mindsets and behavioral patterns. There seems to be an altered state of consciousness at certain times within this whole hypnotic activity but the same holds true for only a small fraction of people. The hypnotic indications as well as the subjective alterations within the human mind can be achieved with hypnosis.

However there a number of controversies that goes in line with the art of hypnosis the world over. Without a shadow of a doubt, hypnosis is a form of hysteria and the people who experience hysteria can be hypnotizable. However this is just a solitary claim and with the recent research it has been proven time and again that nearly all human beings can be hypnotized. The manner in which a person can be hypnotized rests largely with the act of inducting a hypnotic state within him/her. We cannot just fathom a single basis on which we can rest our claim that the same is the proper way of inducing a hypnotic state however for this act to be effective, a number of practitioners have started to employ the calming verbal methodologies, usage of difficult triggers and lastly the inclusion of devices which are mechanical in nature.

Hypnotherapy is the term which is used for the description of hypnosis within a therapeutic setting. A number of these hypnotherapists refer to this act as the practice related with “clinical work”. The major step by step procedure of hypnotizing a person entails of the fact that the person under study must be fully familiar with you and that he/she trusts you for this activity. All said and done, most of the hypnosis which is done is usually self hypnosis than anything else. Thus the chances of surrendering oneself to the person carrying out hypnosis are more than a 100 percent.

The first minor step comprises of choosing a quite place where the act will not be interrupted by anyone. Then the subject or the patient under study is asked to breathe deeply so that his/her calmness is achieved within the human body. The person carrying out the act must keep his tone soothing and slow rather than giving orders as it could not mesh along well with the whole process of hypnosis. The subject is assured that his/her different body parts including chin, thighs, muscles and so on and so forth are relaxed one by one.

There is also a counting process which is done backwards as well as a visualization of some setting where the counting actually relates it with. Next is the taking of the subject to some place where there will be peace and tranquility with a complete yet slow description of the place. The trigger words are attached to different spots within the scenery that is being visited by the subject. Repetition of the trigger is a must in this act. The person is left in that moment for some time so that he/she could relax and be in peace.
