Organizational transformation mostly affects an entire organization and does bring in ample confusion and chaos in its wake. Therefore, the involved stakeholders need to be willing and prepared to act and operate in an environment defined by ample change, amorphousness, and uncertainty. Besides, there ought to be an optimum awareness at all levels within an organization regarding the multiple phases of change and the knowledge, attitude, and expertise required to manage each specific phase.

In the given context, an acknowledgment of some key elements involving organizational transformation does help. Vision- Any successful organizational transformation largely is dependent on a clear and lucid vision. A flawless vision does happen to be an essential ingredient of any well-managed organizational transformation. Concocting an effective vision mostly entails identifying and defining the fundamental principles and values that serve as a blueprint for the entire transformation effort.

In the given context, the people employed at varying levels within the organization should not only have a shared perspective as to the desired future state that the organization is aspiring to achieve, but must also have a sense of participation and interest in the overall transformation process. This not only helps the stakeholders develop a sense of ownership in the transformation process but also motivates and stimulates them to put in the necessary effort required to wrought change. Effective leadership not only helps in establishing a workable transformation plan but also enables the organization to achieve the desired state while grappling well with the altering external circumstances and shifting transformation goals. Alignment- All the structures and processes within an organization must be willing and able to align propitiously with the evolved organizational objectives during a transformation process.

Organizational leadership plays a pivotal role in this aspect and helps the systems and employees share a common sense of vision and a commitment to change.
