Personal ment for Postgraduate Study Application There are 6,5 milliards of people living on our earth, and every one of them has his/her own life history, a combination of circumstances, backgrounds and factors that make every person unique and valuable. In my opinion, the more experiences you have during your lifetime, the more people and places you meet, the more skilled and valuable professional you become. Moreover, a variety of life experiences helps you to better understand people around you, makes your communication with them mutually beneficial, and assists you in encouraging your surroundings to discover and develop their potential.

Studying business economic in my college was of great interest to me, but I've always felt that it's all too general, that it was too little specialization. Nevertheless, it allowed me to define what career I would like to choose. My graduate education showed me the importance of organization in business sphere that is why I choose business management as a possible career. Management is getting things done through other people (Caroselli, 1). As for me, good organization is crucial for getting positive results in any sphere of business.

A good manager is a person, who can plan, control, motivate and reward the employees. I feel I need the education that would give me those skills. Another sphere, which makes me interested, is economic and finance. I feel that this course should help me to enhance my knowledge in the peculiarities of financial management of the company. I've always felt the importance of acquiring skills in money management. I hope this course can teach me the mechanics of financial functioning of the company, and provide knowledge on the mechanisms of getting profits and minimizing losses.

In addition, I've always been interest in global economics. I hope that an advanced course in economic and finance may grant me deeper insight into this issue. For me working with schedules and deadlines is the most challenging issue. In the conditions where things may change every moment, it's not easy to do all the needed work before the deadline. But I try to fulfill my professors' requirements, as I feel that the effectiveness of working process depends directly from it. My strong belief is that the person should progress in his/her professional sphere from year to year, getting new information and pursuing knowledge of the new techniques.

In my opinion this is especially true for people who are involved in economics, as the emergence of the novel know-hows is especially rapid in this area, and one should get acquainted with them in the full measure to preserve or pursue the highest level of qualification possible. I feel I'm curious and energetic enough for to accomplish this task. When thinking about my career choice I analyzed the qualities and skills needed to succeed in each of the fields I am interested in. I found out that to be a successful manager a person should possess outstanding leadership skills.

John Fay, who wrote the article about the leadership development in Fire (2003), adduces the data from the current U.S research, which says that "up to 43 per cent of leaders are born with these natural (leadership) genetic abilities." The other fifty something percent are those, whose leadership qualities are rather acquired than in-born. (Foote) My leadership qualities are also rather acquired than inborn. Nevertheless, I feel I'm capable of becoming a good manager. I am sure that a person can develop almost any quality in herself in case she needs it.

Of course, it is a complicated task that requires lots of time and effort, but, in my opinion, the positive qualities, and skills earned in process, and as a result, are worth it. I managed to develop leadership qualities in myself, and I know I can learn any needed skill if I put enough effort. I am ready to spend my time and labor to get the education in the field, which is interests me. I've chosen the university as I feel it is capable of giving me the education I've always dreamt about.

I'm longing for perfection in most of the things I do, and education is not the sphere where perfection can be neglected. I would like to get the best education possible, and the university is the best choice for it, due to the professionalism of people, who work there, and due to the extensive knowledge base it possess. I also feel that university provides more opportunities for professional and personal realization than any college or school does, as there are numerous clubs and interest groups there, which allow getting new knowledge and experiences together with communication.

My persuasion is that every person should be employed in the field he/she likes. Business management and economic and finance are the fields where I can actualize my potential, and, maybe, make the life of people, who surround me, a little better. Works Cited1. Caroselli, M.
