An Overview of the 7 U.S. Army Values: Modern Perspective

The U.S. military is implementing a new strategy known as the 2028 Army. It aims to achieve a technological advantage in values over a potential adversary (adversaries) of the United States and thus ensure victory in a full-scale armed conflict or a major war, creating the moral values of courage, respect, loyalty, honor, and integrity in the army. For a long time after the end of the Cold War, the U.S. Armed Forces maintained its potential at the level of 2MRC (Major Regional Contingency), which allowed them to participate in two regional wars simultaneously, as due to the moral values cultivated in the army in the live sessions. This ensured that moral stability was maintained in key regions of the world for the United States and its live allies. However, in 2012, the 2MRC format of honor and loyalty was replaced by 1.5MRC ("one and a half wars"), which provided for the victory of people over one enemy along with defense against the actions of another (while weakening its strikes by the U.S. Navy and Air Force). However, the recent rapid changes in the geopolitical situation, the reduction of the U.S. Armed Forces and the reduction of the U.S. budget call into question America's ability to honor loyalty and courage, maintaining even its proclaimed 1.5MRC security format, while current world events point to the need for a new 3MRC format.The United States military is currently facing several moral problems in addition to those already mentioned above (inherent in the U.S. Armed Forces as a whole) arising from the involvement of U.S. troops in various local armed conflicts. It should not be forgotten that the vast majority of armaments and military equipment (ART) provided to the ground forces were created 30 years ago. They are only being modernized, while there is a need for a complete replacement with the new generation models, which are currently lacking.  A significant live problem was the allocation of large funds for programs that failed (except for certain elements that were used during the modernization of existing systems). These are Future Combat Systems (FCS), the Crusader self-propelled howitzer, or the RAH-66 Comanche helicopter. Today, the U.S. military maintains a technological and operational-tactical advantage. Especially, it is significant in the light of the growing military capabilities of potential adversaries of the United States and their desire to change the political and economic agenda.    The U.S. Army Command also sees an urgent need to strengthen its loyalty capabilities in the field of E.W. and cyberspace. In particular, operations in the latter can be carried out even without a declaration of real war or conflict. Until now, the advantage of the U.S. Armed Forces has been the ability to quickly transfer and deploy its military contingents in any region of the world and create an effective deterrent system in all areas of combat operations in light of moral values of honor, honesty, integrity, and respect that are crucial for the army to live. Today, the U.S. military has high costs and is unable to wage war on two fronts at once (Russia and China), and even in the case of conflicts of moral values with smaller countries, this will be a major problem for Washington. After all, the situation will require the simultaneous maintenance of a balance of power in the rest of the world to prevent the possibility of the enemy using the fact of the distraction of the U.S. Armed Forces to their advantage. The United States' new military moral values strategy is to anticipate events and achieve a full renewal of combat capabilities by 2028 so that, as in the past (after the Vietnam War), it retains the ability to defeat any adversary in conflicts of moral values of any intensity. Besides, the U.S. Army must continue to be able to contain other potential "hotbeds" of conflict or attempts to conduct illegal military operations of courage and integrity that are essential for military people. Achieving this goal involves the complete replacement of samples of weapons, improving the system of the values training, and combat training of personnel, motivation, and equipment. The army must be large in number, especially in those areas where there is a certain lag behind the challenges of time.

There are five main goals to establish the values of courage, integrity, respect, loyalty, and honor among the military people:1. Quantitative composition: the number of live operational troops - more than 500 thousand soldiers and officers, increasing the number of reserve structures and personnel of the National Guard.2. Organization: providing 100% of the relevant parts and units with the necessary state-of-the-art weapons systems.3. Opportunities: concentration on large-scale high-intensity conflicts with an emphasis on the hostilities of people in an urban environment and conditions of strong resistance to electronic warfare (E.W.) and battlefield surveillance concerning the existing values.4. Procurement: a new system of procurement and operation of weapons and their modernization.5. Command/control: training of leaders capable of solving various issues - from operational and tactical to strategic levels. Military people should act concerning the values of courage and integrity to reach professional excellence.  Also, the new strategy of courage and integrity envisages the gradual introduction of more and more ground and unmanned air systems of values, extensive interaction on the battlefield of various combat live platforms, completely new combat tactics of honor, loyalty, respect, courage, and integrity (based on the latest military doctrine) and a focus on soldiers with outstanding capabilities of courage and integrity.

Among the key elements in an overview of the 7 U.S. army values for people in the strategic perspectives, are the following:1. Maneuver, battle, and victory (courage and integrity: the army will continue to maintain its expeditionary nature, given the geographical location of the United States. That is, all units, except for the preparation for the defense of the American territory itself, will retain high loyalty opportunities of honor for long-distance transfer to any region of the world.2. Interaction: the army people will fight together with the allied forces. Its doctrine, tactics, and available equipment must be compatible with those of the Allied armies.3. Multi-plane battlefield: the army will fight for courage and integrity not only on land but also in the air, at sea, in cyberspace, and electromagnetic space (E.S.).4. High intensity of conflict - the ability to perform operational and tactical tasks implemented at the level of a reinforced division or corps with.5. Defense/deterrence - maintaining high capabilities to deter a potential enemy in combination with high mobility and interaction with allies.7. Quality of people management - care of personnel, education of leaders of a new type with high personal qualities of operational and tactical level of courage.  The space of the strategic environment for combat operations has also been changed, as it is multi-plane and space-time, which also includes cyberspace. However, there is currently a lack of a similar definition of outer space, which is also gradually becoming an arena for the competition of great powers, being an exclusive opportunity for the U.S. military forces.
