 New media has helped shape up ideas. This has meant that the large corporations have given way to the newer forms of media which have largely been able to attract audiences in a number of different ways. However this has also meant that financial anomalies have come about with the advent of new media forms. It would be suffice to suggest that the new media has opened up new avenues for marketers as they have understood that not all activities and actions come under the direct domains of their work regimes. Hence the need for understanding the new dictums has come about with the passage of time. It has meant advanced solutions have also made the rounds of the business realms which is a definitive plus sign in the current times and one that will be the cornerstone of success within the future. The newer media forms have continued to help develop the world’s advancing technologies. The role of these media have drastically improved over the passage of time and it would be sound to state here that much more is waiting to happen in the coming times as well. The large corporations have been at a loss ever since these new media forms have come about in a magnanimous manner. However what these organizations must understand is the fact that this is only natural and such inductions of the new media forms will only facilitate in developing the global business regimes in manifold ways. This is a major decisive step when one considers the case of organizations that have made it big in the past and even today. New media has encompassed the emergence of different media forms. These have included the digitalization, computerization, and changeover of networked information and communication facets of technology within the domains of the later part of the 21st century. The new media forms are thus digital in the most basic sense and seem to depend entirely on the digital medium rather than anything else for that matter. These digital forms are easily manipulated and seem to have an ease of networking within their folds. More than anything else, digital new media forms are compressible, seem to remain impartial and are usually very dense in nature. The phenomenon of globalization has generally assisted in the propagation of new media forms. The propagation of new media has meant success for all and sundry, where emphasis has remained on the factors that have brought a sense of sanity for the new media elements in a number of different ways (Greene 2002, 45). It would be correct to state that the new media forms as well as the related elements are the ‘in’ thing and these would continue in the times to come. New media is therefore a successful proposition and one that will continue to remain as such in the future ahead. The need is to analyze its benefits in an ever-growing world that is filled with a sense of acceptance on the part of all the users, more so the people who are early adopters. The world of Internet has shifted the attention of millions worldwide. This has happened though for all the right reasons. Internet has shifted attitudes like no other device or movement in the past. It has made mankind completely dependent on its advantages which seem to outnumber the pitfalls, if any there are present. This is a very interesting concept that has helped the new media forms and it would be justified in stating that the new media owes its success upon the role of Internet in a number of different ways (Mullen 1999, 119). The accession of data and video over the World Wide Web and the availability of real time gaming, music and other facets has largely assisted individuals in their work areas. The advent of discussion groups, chat programs, instant messaging software, social community systems and networks, etc has meant that Internet has only risen with the time gone by. This will continue to be the case in the coming times because the new media forms will keep on sustaining its own self with the advent of even more time in the future (Kress 2003, 88). However this would require availability of proper resources and funding mechanisms so that research and development holds they key for the changing norms and procedures in the times to come. There is enormous potential out there, which has remained untapped to date. Only a fraction of the same has been explored and yet much more continues to stay that needs to be studied in depth. The new media will therefore succeed in the end undoubtedly. I am of the view that the new media forms have given us room to exploit our strengths in the best manner possible. This has meant that we, as individuals have understood the premise of bringing about a positive change towards our work domains. This has happened in the wake of practical advancements within the field of science and technology. Hence this is a very interesting aspect and one that warrants quite a good amount of significance on the part of the people. The new media elements have usually brought about a sense of finesse and luxury within the lives of the people – a fact that seemed to be a missing link in the yesteryears. Hence one could feel grateful for the essential commodities of life that seemed to be improbable in the time gone by. This is a very important factor and more so since the new media forms have come about in a blasting manner (Lewis 2003, 38). The advent of science and technology has meant that man has developed over a period of time and the role of the new media aspects has generally increased on an exponential level. It would be adequately sound to fathom that the new media forms have brought about more benefits than the pitfalls and the success criterion for judging such a debate has rested heavily on the shoulders of the scientists and researchers, which indeed is a very positive thing. Having said that it is important to realize that the new media has generally brought about more amenities in the loves of the men and women in the times much like today. This is a very enticing proposition because it has asked of us to use these luxuries in a very open and direct way. The element of innovation has come about in a very drastic way and thus the mankind has been benefited in a number of different ways. The new media forms have largely addressed the shortfalls on the part of the technological regimes because these have taken care of the significant factors contributing to growth and development within the different areas of science. Also the scientific avenues have benefited endlessly from the continuing upsurge in the technological tools, a fact that is understood in entirety by the new media supporters. The new media has touched upon the needs of the audiences in different ways and means. This is because the new media elements have banked on the premise of providing more facilities than these were present in the past. This is an underlying principle in the advent of newer and more advanced technological media forms. The new media is thus a phenomenon which has benefited the people rather than putting them back in the sheer sense of the word. In essence it is the manifestation of facilities and newer products under the umbrella of the new media that has helped shape up the beliefs and ideologies of the people. This is an interesting debate and one that moves forward to bring about more positives in the long run for one and all. The provision of cut throat technologies and newer inventions has meant that people have generally been at a benefit due to the new media tools (Horsman 1996). The usage of ipods, laptops, notebooks, cell phones, different gadgets and so on have all helped the cause of the new media. New media is usually being seen as a threat in the present times but this is not a very alarming situation for the people who must matter the most within these organizations. What these big concerns must understand is the fact that natural progression is only natural and there is absolutely no denying this very fact. The large corporations should instead give an encouraging hand so that support measures could be paved out for growth and development in the related fields. What these large corporations fail to comprehend is the fact that new media is here to stay and it would only improve from here, not go back to square one. This is a given because new media is a force to reckon with and there is no use denying a phenomenon which has made the rounds of the business regimes in a positive way. The business realms have generally been at a benefit due to the change in the ideological thinking, if at all they have understood the related notion of new media. It would be sound to state that new media looks to bring out more benefits than the other way around. The new media facets are usually governed by a general dictum of technological prowess and a resistance to break the shackles as far as the norms of the time is concerned. The same has been taking place for the last few decades. This essentially pinpoints an area of significance as far as gaining an understanding related with the new media tenets is concerned. The new media is all for the innovatory elements coming about in the open, and thus proper emphasis has been paid on this aspect more often than not. It has been questioned several times whether or not the new media aspects have covered the rationale of understanding the dictums attached with an ideological change in the people, however the answer to this has been different in terms of consequence and gravity. The same has depended a great deal on the way people have perceived the newer forms of media and their resistance patterns. It would thus be appropriate to comprehend that the new media has brought about a general shift within the minds and hearts of the people. The audience has become more open to understanding what the new media has to offer them and how it could bring about a paradigm shift within their lives, for the better. The ingenuity of the cutting edge technology has been such that it has involved and re-involved people time and again (Barney 2002, 83). It has gained their attention through different ways and means, all of which have significantly improved the way people generally view their lives. Thus it would be pretty sane to decipher here that the new media forms have resulted in a better understanding of the people now than ever before, more so because the new media elements have played a quintessential role at bringing about a solid change within the lives of the people. The propensity of the new media to circulate a sense of easiness within the people’s lives is generally taken in a very important vein, a facet which has received much attention with the passage of time. Thus it is of paramount importance to comprehend here that the new media has targeted at making lives of the people all around subtle and easy, if not cost-dependent in the real sense of the word. Moving on, the new media has its good points as well as the bad ones. Since the advantages have already been mentioned in the above paragraphs, it would only be appropriate to highlight some of the negative ones. The most glaring pitfall is the manner in which new media has made use of the money element, coming directly out from the pockets of the people who purchase these new media forms. Once again, cost comes out as an issue that receives all the flak and mostly for all the right reasons. However one must understand that the new media elements and tools cost more to manufacture and it is only natural to charge a higher fee for these technological up-gradations (Weasenforth 2006, 78). The new media has thus created a digital divide amongst the people, the ones having more money can go for the new media options while who miss out usually have other finances to take care of. It is only natural to have a divide between the users of the new media and the ones who could only see it as a secondary purchase, the purchase which would see the light of the day if they are able to earn that much. However, cost is not the solitary factor that could be regarded as a pitfall under such domains. Another one is the manner in which new media has been able to upgrade its own self with the help of different tools and devices that are brought into the market on a consistent basis. This has made the well-off realize that they need to remain in touch with the latest gadgets and tools and hence spend more on such lavish wants. It is only natural for a user of the new media to have the most up to date tools and gadgets under his belt as this is a classic case of pristine class and unmatched taste. Hence the divide will keep on continuing with the passage of time and there is solid evidence in this very fact without a shadow of a doubt. In the end, it would be understandable to suggest here that the new media has made giant strides within the lives of the people. The large corporations have a right to pave the way for letting the new technologies and devices reach the actual recipients in the most righteous way that there ever could be. However red tape and business barriers bring about aspects which really leave a bad taste in the mouth of the people who appreciate the new media and its different forms that have brought a blessing within the lives of the people. There is testimony in the fact that new media will break new grounds in the future and create an environment which will inculcate competition and positive rivalry amongst the giants present in the relevant industrial domains. It is about time that mankind understood its basic need of asking for more and that too in an abundant capacity (Brody 1990, 31). This should wake up the major players that are doing business within the different countries of the world. If these large corporations do not rise up now, there is reason to believe that there could be problems for just about everyone related with this business. In essence, new media is here to stay and stay it will no matter how tough the competition turns out to be. In fact, going one step further would see that the new media forms are all being competed amongst their own selves, which essentially means competition within competition, thus success for the people in entirety.
