In the past, people were literally obsessed with nationalism that was bred by the ruthless philosophy of “realism”. The time when nationalism was a leading way of life had been rated better than the current way of life by most of the philosophers. They intend to argue that in those times, they were at least aware of their enemies and their privacies were intact while they spend quality hours with the families. The sex was warm and the enslaved nations were aware of their condition (Fischer & Reuber, 2011). However, people are nowadays failing at devoting sufficient time to their loved ones whereas, sex is dying out and humans of the advanced era are spending useless hours in the front of a shiny screen and they think that they are “socializing” but in reality they are hallucinating themselves for their better part of the day. The practice of socialization is supposed to be accompanied with strong emotions and happiness while, people were eager to meet each other (Jansen, Zhang, Sobel, & Chowdury, 2009). Humans had been writing letters to each other for centuries and that particular trend made them writers. The past generations were masters of articulating their thoughts into words because they were habitual of writing letters but nowadays things changed dramatically and each time honored human activity is getting done with the help of computers. The current generation is having thousands and thousands of friends on social networking sites but they do not know them personally and yet they think that they have buddies when in real sense they are alone. The loner in the past was aware of his or her loneliness and therefore, he or she devoted his or herself to arts, literature and painting. In this fashion their self awareness helped them in many regards (Mathisen & Einarsen, 2004). However, each of the humans living in this time is having multiple social media accounts and because of this reason, he or she presumes his or herself is an extrovert. The outbreak of an urge to be an extrovert is killing creativity in people because innovation and newness can come from the dark rooms of loners who dissolved themselves into their works and caused the world of intellect to move forward eventually. The youngsters’ minds are stuck up in socialization and they cannot possibly focus on their studies, jobs and work. The illusion of globalized networking is eating away the warmth of emotions which defined humans at one point in history. The trend of telecommuting is used by companies to promote their employee friendliness but on the other hand, it is their way of getting into one’s personal and leisure time. Due to offshore working, the companies became capable of keep their operations running around the clock. The concept of nine to five working hours is gone and now employees are considered slaves for their lifetime. The capitalistic hands applied information technology in order to enslave the entire world and this time, they made sure that slaves must remain unaware of their situation so that they cannot retaliate against the system. The social networking sites are used to gather data and information about people’s opinion by the most powerful intelligence agencies of the world. They are using the gathered information in order to manipulate thinking patterns of the people of developing nations. The recession in Western world reveals quite a few facts about developed nations. However, they are planning to bounce back from a historical financial atrocity by taking advantage from natural resources of developing nations in the name of outsourcing (Leavy, 2004). The term outsourcing is a new strategic tool of maintaining supremacy over the world and currently, it is in the hands of Americans. Nevertheless, the presence of nuclear weapons in every corner of the world made the possibility of Third World War remotest in nature because every nation is well aware of the fact that by using nuclear weaponry, they will cause total annihilation of mankind from the face of the earth and that is why, they are not willing to take that risk. The elements of nationalistic and realistic mindsets are present in the world of globalization but they have taken new forms. All of the countries are subtly working in order to take each other down by causing catastrophe in the local economic systems. The original inference of this paper is adequately supporting by the above argument because humans are indeed not aware of their friends and enemies any more. Furthermore, the undesirable social and communal practice of lying became very convenient in the present because according to recent reports of Facebook, substantial accounts are known to be illegitimate in nature. The platforms of Facebook and other sites like it are allegedly linked with the information management units of Federal Bureau of Investigation and Central Intelligence Agency and in the light of previous statement, people should practice caution in terms of sharing their hidden truths on the internet because they may well be involved in spreading their secrets to distant parts of the world without being aware of it. The social networking sites are programmed to prolong the stay of the visitor so that he or she can become addicted with the new form of meeting people (Seeley, 1992). In the essence, information technology is a blessing because it has fine-tuned the processing speed of the world and it joined different parts of the world in order to create the global village and there is not a shred of doubt in believing that. The problem with information technology is growing in volume and intensity because it is being used too intensively in all parts of the world and the “human touch” is getting less and less in lives. The feeling of being connected and the experience of falling in love are a few significant causalities that resulted when humans decided to apply e-socializing in their lives. The great minds are requesting people to embrace life in a traditional way because without really connecting to another human one cannot imagine about living a fulfilling life. In order to live a satisfactory life, an individual must not have trillions of friends but only one real buddy could be enough for a lifetime. The modern world of information technology is so filled with deceit that everyone is presuming that others have malicious plans against them (Finkle, 2014). The notion of love is being rapidly replaced with sexism and the next generation is falling into the fallacy that sex is love but it is not and sex is the mere part of lovemaking (Peck, 2005) yet it is not the whole thing. Then, the unethical attitudes demonstrated on the internet are spilling over into daily lives where people think that they can get away with lying. The illusion of being connected is the most dangerous consequence of social media because it does not give anyone a chance to explore their own selves. What the people of the 21st century need is some time alone so that they can better understand their goals and objectives in life. They know others more than themselves. According to Maslow’s hierarchy of needs humans have to socialize in order to live but that socialization is based on face to face conversations and humans need to understand that before they can dream about a perfect life. The internet has given birth to another demon which goes by the name of name of “pornography” which unveiled the secrets of adulthood in front of innocent eyes far too early and once youngsters see that then all of the charm of being in an intimate relation withers away. They start living an empty life which forces them to become dissatisfied with their quality of life. The issue with modern living arises when people can see things on the internet without really seeing them (Downs, 2014). The human mind is triggered with the presence of novelty and when people read or watch stuff on the network of networks then their mind considers the newly attained information as outdated with the passage of time and when an individual engages in the similar real life event then, the brain tends to establish the action as nothing new but for the body that activity is all new and there initiates a battle between heart and mind of a person. The basic and fundamental purpose of this article is to emphasize on the need for humans to experience everything firsthand before considering it as a part of their experiential base. The information present of the internet is a sequence of raw data and it is written or filmed based on somebody else’s experiences and it may or may not happen for real with the person who read it on the web. The humans of the modern times do not want to go through pain and therefore, they are changing into control freaks. Their need to control everything is eating them from inside out and it is not letting them live a free life. In summary, modern humans have to make a decision of deleting from their lives what is not life and it can be argued that e-socializing in not an integral element of one’s life. The human race has survived for eons and the current episode can do the same as well if it can just give traditional living a chance. Additionally, intellectuals are engaged in lengthy debates about justification of information technology as a valued part of human life but they cannot build a perfect argument and that is enough to base the conclusion that people can live an ideal life with making a decision to limit their daily exposure to technology to a minimum. The internet should be used for getting chores done which cannot be completed otherwise and the rest of the activities on the internet should be dumped away. Finally, if one dares to live the life in the manner in which it is meant to be lived that he or she does not need to read on the internet but he or she can write about his or her experiences in the world. Conclusion This writing has been composed so that people can become aware of the fact that they are wasting their precious time by sitting in front of a machine with a shiny screen.
