Marketing a Blackberry 9380 GSM Cellular Phone Introduction Blackberry is one of the most reliable cell phone manufacturing companies. It provides innovative, stylish, and reliable mobile phones to the customers. Some of the biggest attractions of Blackberry mobile phones include enhanced connectivity, excellent camera results, and a long battery time. In this report, we are going to develop a marketing plan for a new blackberry phone. The marketing plan will include such strategies, which will play their role in creating awareness among the public about the new and exciting features provided by the company in its new Blackberry product.

Description of the Product The new Blackberry phone, which we are going to advertise, has a number of attractive features and qualities, which make this product different from many of its competitors. Although such features can be found in some of the latest mobile phones manufactured by other companies but they cannot meet the level of quality and reliability provided by the Blackberry 9380 GSM Cellular Phone. Some of the most appealing features of this mobile phone include: Low cost (250 US dollars) 12 Mega pixel camera Infrared, 3G, and SmartPhone features Very soft click QWERTY keyboard MicroSD expansion Stylish design Fast connectivity Quick processing 4 inch display Dimensions (108 x 65 x 15.5 mm) 6 GB internal memory One click login to communities 3-D display Facility to play computer games Accessible online applications store Type of Advertisement In order to advertise the phone, we will use various famous platforms like face book, Orkut, and Twitter.

This is because face book and Orkut are the most widely used platforms of communication by the public. Daud (2008) states, “The most effecting marketing plans are those that are simple yet effective and easy to implement”. Various announcements regarding the new event will be made regularly on the fan page of face book. Finch (2008) states, “The promotional tools that are deployed depend on the nature of the target audiences, the objectives and the strategies”. Television ads are also one of the most useful media in order to inform the public about the new phone.

We will advertise the product through television ads, which will appear frequently on the television. Along with television, advertising through magazines and international newspapers will also be done in order to make local and international customers aware of the product. Target Group The target audience for the new Blackberry mobile phone will be the middle class people, college students, money spenders, young children. The phone includes all such features that a high priced mobile phone includes.

The only difference is the price of the phone. The price has been kept low in order to make it affordable for the people who do not enough money to buy a reliable phone.
