ABSTRACT
Hilton Hotels & Resorts (Hilton Hotels) is an American multination full-service hotels and resorts founded in 1919 by Conrad Hilton (Hilton Hotel’s par. 1). The McLean, Virginia-based hotel has grown since then to become an iconic global brand comprising of more than 570 hotels in more than 84 nations and territories across the globe. This study investigate the leadership style at Hilton. The objectives include was to investigate the satisfaction level of Hilton Hotel employees. To investigate the type of leadership styles in Hilton Hotel and lastly to investigate how the adoption of democratic leadership affect employee satisfaction in the hotel. The findings of this study showed that the leadership style and behaviors had either positive or negative effect on the employee performance. Multiple regression was used was used to test the effect of or the significance of leadership style on job performance.
