According to our English dictionary, we can define a team as a group of persons aiming for a common goal by working together.

When forming a team there are some critical things to consider if you want to have a successful team, these include;

  • Individual track record

An individual accomplishment or achievement can help in defining a person, you may want your team to be a success and one of those things to look from a person is basically his/her track record as it explains more than just experience of a person.

  • Individual-teamwork participation

Different people have different responses when it comes to working in a group, some are team players while others are not, when forming a team, it's better to consider these type of persons in order to avoid future problems.

  • Personal Traits

Teamwork is not just identified by how experienced your team is but how disciplined they are. When forming a team, you may want to consider a team that can listen to you and that which you can exercise some authorities over them.

  • Role

A team has a different position that requires different roles, each individual plays a different role and by doing so you may want to have experienced individuals with good personality traits within different roles. This, therefore, calls for a qualified and experienced individual when it comes to managerial roles in a successful team.

In terms of team comparison, there are some very important features that I have learned after watching the video. These include Natural curiosity, Karl Mc Donnell describes curiosity as a trait that is very important during team building, the urge of curiosity can make an individual competition in a team.
