The paper "Analysis of Manager’s Decisions in the Thai Day Sap" is a wonderful example of a case study on management. In the modern world, competition is so severe to the level that companies need to make decisions quickly and decisively. Any decision that is adopted by a manager needs to be strategic. Among the strategic decisions is coming up with a detailed plan on the growth and development of the business when it commences operation. After conducting a SWOT and PESTEL analysis of the business environment in the United Kingdom, the plan entails opening a Thai spa business in London, with the purpose of offering better refreshment and relaxation services to the UK citizens.

As a differentiation strategy, the spa will provide contemporary beauty care and massage services to the people in a traditional way. In this regard, it is very crucial for a business to manage its resources effectively. The major competencies of human resource managers are solid decision-making and communication skills. HR management is considered to be a very crucial asset to any business. This is because it offers expertise on: change management and facilitating training and development; pensions and other benefits; conversing with staff; recruitment, selection, and employee relations.

Resources can be tangible or intangible. The intangible resources may include counseling, training, and development. On the other hand, tangible resources comprise financial benefits and rewards. In that respect, the paper will critically review the key decisions that have been taken by the resource manager including human resource planning, hiring and retention of staff, worker motivation, premises acquisition, and design, design, and fit-out of premises; as well as start-up costs and assess their impact on the Thai Day spa business plan Main body The UK’s spa market segment has been developing in a considerable manner because of augmented demand for holistic treatments and relaxation services by the people.

As a resource manager, there are several duties that need to be performed effectively so that all of the resources are well aligned with the business operations. That is why the resource manager needs to ensure that the business has all the tangible and intangible resources required. These activities consist of the following: human resource planning; recruitment and selection, retention, and motivation; premises and acquisition; design and fit-out of premises; lastly, start-up costs.
